I know Speight wasn't perfect, but goodness gracious he was great and very consistent. Solid mechanics, great arm, and could move if needed. The closest a michigan quarterback has been to beating Ohio State since Denard Robinson and Devon Gardner. He was injured in that game and still almost won it despite the refs giving the game to OSU.
I just wish he wasn't injured, he would've been more effective throwing the ball and we would've won by at least a single touchdown within regulation. Damn Iowa lol.
@@TheRealMacAndCheese Definitely, OSU was no match for Clemson that year lol. I bet if Speight was healthy, we would've gone to the playoffs and at least actually given Clemson a scare. Hopefully Jim gets his mojo back and JJ McCarthy can recreate 2016, without any injuries hehe.
