Watching guys like you play golf and knowing that even though both of you are elite, you’re still not consistently tour level is just wild. The difference between a scratch golfer and a tour pro is about the same as a 20 handicapper against a 7 handicap
Why did Brad hit 2 different greenside chip shots on hole 15? First one at 19:17 and 2nd at 19:55 and both landed on the green just in different spots???
You are as close to the tour as I am, and I’m a 12 handicap. Meaning, neither of us will ever make it. You’re a really good player but there are so many great golfers out there. Keep making great vids
Exactly. A 24 handicap is more likely to get to Garretts level within 3 months than Garrett is to get onto the PGA Tour in his lifetime. It’s just so far ahead.
G is a legitimate scratch player. Maybe a +1 or 2. That makes him about 5 levels away from PGA. If you've ever regularly played with an actual PGA tour quality player, you know. Any doubters, go watch a Korn Ferry open qualifier and you'll see how unbelievably good guys are that can't even break into the KF tour. Brad and Kwon are probably 2 levels away. And I mean absolutely no disrespect to any of the guys.
I think the hardest is playing consistently no matter pace etc. Think about all the rounds you play fast get into them and light up the course. Now take and add time in between every shot waiting. PGA players are so consistent slow or fast. Windy or calm.

However, you have done something most P.G.A. professionals and Tour Pro will never accomplish to promote the game and have fun in front of thousands. You still have fun and people enjoy watching you and the people you play with regardless of what your score card says at the end of the day. I think Grant is every bit as good as George. I think you and Micah have potential to play on tour, but Micah needs to see major improvement on his short game. You are so naturally gifted, I don’t think there is one specific area to work on except for the mental aspect.
Last time I played was like 15 years ago when I was a student. I never made my Course licence though as was too expensive for me back then. The ONLY way you will ever know is to cut out all the BS and GRIND......for a LONG time. That's the only way to maximize you playing ability and really have a true measuring stick against the best. Just playing with PGA players in a CZcams video doesn't match their MENTAL ability and all the practice grind they put in. It's up to you. I'm not trying to sound judgemental - just my opinion on the only way you'll ever really know if you can match up with the best. Best of luck either way - great channel.
I m a 12 hcp and shot a 94 on a pretty hard course today. The thing is I struck the ball really well and actually had a decent game but couldn’t score. Man it seems you sometimes hit great shots with bad results and bad shots that end up good. 😅putting is the key
He might be 10% away from being able to go pro. But sharping a razor blade another 10% is a monumental task which not only involves talent, but a sacrifice of quality of life in areas most people can not (and should not) take on. He's extraordinarly successful doing a thing he loves. He is a golf pro, just not a tour pro, but IMO, he has already won.
I was so happy to see Brad on Love is Blind Season 6! I personally think he should've picked Jess Instead of Chelsea but I was happy for him either way!
I would prefer CZcams golf over pga tour golf all day long. Seems like you get to play golf instead of having to play. Yall are some very fortunate guys man. It’s awesome.
I have a good friend who i played many rounds with. He competed on the Japanese tour for five years plus 3 or 4 years on the Asian tour. He also had a number of PGA starts through Monday qualifying. Unless you are the best and make it early on tour its very hard to keep going without a financal sponsir. The Japanese tour payed fairly well, but the cost of living and travel was very high. Even if you look at the corn Ferry tour the money is not good if you dont finish the year top 30, your going into debt. My buddy shot 4 under or better every round i played with him. We figured he was three quarters of a shot per round not quite good enough. Luke, Brad, and my pal played four years of D1 college golf. Witthout that training it would be almost impossible to make it on tour.
My dad told me about a bowler from my area. Many years ago. Carried a 230 average on the crap local lanes. Went on tour. He had to quit after a year because his body couldn't hold up under the stress of bowling 100 games a week. This, classified under, "things we don't realize."
I wish I could spend my day working on my golf game and going to the gym. I truly believe if I was able to do that, I could make it to the pga. I might be delusional, but I’m already almost a scratch golfer and I can barely practice for a couple hours throughout the week and might be able to play once a week.
garrett these guys on tour are young specimens like Woo Lee, or Old dudes like Sam Snead who win, when they are 50, u don’t need to make it this year or next, you have a whole lotta time ahead of you

I heard on PGA tour radio, something about a youtuber getting a PGA tourney start.
I love the Sketch impression at 6:35 😂
Your friend your playing with on this match is ready for tour right now.
Great video! Fun to watch. Somewhere your math is not mathing though.
26:35 sup ryder, i see you
Testicle head..🤣🤣🤣 omg , that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time LMAO!!!
Getting the handicap to +2 or +3 I would say would be fair and you could compete and feel confident playing in a PGA tournament
Enjoyed this content. Want to see Garrett play more 18-hole contests on this channel against great opponents like Brad.
Garrett, I have some Good Good tees that you can use!
Brad is levels man, he could make a run at the tour if he really wanted to. Why go for tour though when you can kick it with good good ;)
I love the more uncut content here
A good friend will tell you the truth instead of what you want to hear. Brad is a solid dude.
I wish I could spend my day working on my golf game and going to the gym. I truly believe if I was able to do that, I could make it to the pga. I might be delusional, but I’m already almost a scratch golfer and I can barely practice for a couple hours throughout the week and might be able to play once a week.
Love the sketch reference
garrett these guys on tour are young specimens like Woo Lee, or Old dudes like Sam Snead who win, when they are 50, u don’t need to make it this year or next, you have a whole lotta time ahead of you
