11-15-23 M3R Visits the Plant Memorial Home

On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, the Portable Unit of the Maine 3 Railers Model Railroad Club visited the Plant Memorial Home in Bath, ME. We set up the layout from 8 - 10 a.m., then welcomed residents until 2:15 p.m. Our hosts served us a delicious lunch at noon. At 2:15 we broke down the layout, packed it up, loaded our cars, and headed home. The layout featured 2 loops plus an elevated trolley line with bridges, buildings, amusements, roads, vehicles and trees. A fun day for all.
