Mine does not come off the hook that easy 😥
And apparently, the model in the video, despite having the EXACT same name, has internal (or magic) brakes.

Does anybody have a review on this scooter all the ones online are for the GXL only
Where can I get a replacement hook latch for my gotrax xr max the red plastic hook that latches into the fender to fold up broke and the only ones I see on Amazon don't fit my scooter
First you have to figure out why the brakes aren't connected and wonder why the directions didn't include ANY explanation of how to attach the brakes.
instructions on manual say to go to their link for upgraded manual, this is the g2 version. If you read the whole booklet you'd be set.
What about the safety lock?

People, This is the GoTrax GT-G2, not the GXL V2. This model has a 6.5" 200W motor and the braking is done electronically through the hub motor.

Can you use the Gotrax scooter in "manual mode " by pushing with your legs while scooter in OFF ?
We recommend using the throttle so you aren't pushing around an extra heavy scooter. Be sure to wear a helmet!

Yeah mines did the same thing for some reason it took me like 30 mins I had to unscrew the hooks
Just bought a g2 and for some reason mine just cuts out sometimes. It’s charged and does charge.

I can't hook it when I fold it. The red hook does not reach the part that's by the rear tire

@@TRD_Cueto Seems you have to get on it and kick a few times, it doesn't self power from 'zero'.
@@krumby yes! I emailed Go Trax and they quickly replied with a similar answer. Has to be kicked to 1.3 mph to start working. Tried it and it works! I mentioned to them, it would be nice to mention this in the manual. 👍👍

I don’t know where I’m supposed to put the charger in the scooter (and yes I have looked through the manual)
You should see the charging port on the Electric Scooter Console. It is right below the power button. There is a small cover that protects the charging port from dust particles and other contaminants.
If you did look at the manual, then you just missed alot of information because it is there
I did that and mine wouldn’t go anywhere
