Adding Layers to a Boring Gel Print

Adding one more layer often takes a boring gel print from ho hum to fabulous with a little time and ingenuity. This video does exactly that by showing you how the additional layer pulled the print together. This stencil is a @pmartiststudio stencil designed by @susandufresne.

Thanks for demonstrating this particular stencil, its a design by Susan that I really adore. Watching you use it and show that it can be turned and moved shows its even more versatile than Susan's epic design first suggests. You have inspired me to imagine how it would be as a texture plate not only how I could use it as a stencil, that multi use always persuades me on the decision making process when buying. Of course your fabulous ability to brayer magic across your gel plate is always a treat, starting with fern but showing cobalt blue gave that transformation layer. Beautiful results always, thanks for recording and enabling us to watch as you create #NoHoHumsHappened 💜

Ahhh, your comment made my day. You have such a gift with words, your ability to comment with insight and clarity inspires me to “try” to do the same for my fellow arty friends. It is always amazing to me how one final layer can make all the difference in the print, in this case the Cobalt Blue pulled all of the previous layers together. Thank you it is a fabulous stencil and would make a marvelous texture plate.
