Really nice vehicle. All it's missing is another 50-90 miles range...

The 208 miles, is it a real range or the one approved by the EPA?

Is this the new Fjord Blue color that came with the C40? I've been looking everywhere trying to find an XC40 Recharge in this blue, as I am torn between this and Thunder Gray

Great video. I actually test drove one a few weeks ago. I was surprised with the acceleration and fun-to-drive factor.

I hear that, really fun to drive. Didn’t expect the acceleration when burying the pedal. Good for a smile for sure. Bit a quick :( when the lease figures came up.

Volvo is actually going to make all electric vehicles on their new platform starting with what is going to replace the XC90 next year. What I'm not clear on is what happens to the gas and hybrid XC90. Either Volvo keeps revising the current one until they phase it out or they have some sort of new xc90 gas vehicle. The xc40 will continue on for a bit. There's a c40, all electric, that's a "coupe" version of this xc40 and it was shown but isn't on sale yet (July 2021). But Volvo will not make any more electric cars on existing platforms starting with the new full sized SUV they'll introduce next year.

FYI, the XC40 Recharge's infotainment system does not currently offer Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, nor does it support Sirius XM. These features are coming later via a software update.

Does the back open with the key fob? You did not mention. Short people may not be able to reach up to close.

Why is there an aggressive center hump in an EV with no exhaust system or drive shaft?

The infotainment is powered by Google. It's my understanding that you can just say "Hey Google" and change any vehicle setting. So, no need to fumble through on-screen menus.
