I'm so glad you loved What Feasts at Night and that you found it darker than What Moves the Dead. I'm reading it soon and I hope I'll love it too. I just finished Nettle & Bone and though I thought I wouldn't like it as much, I ended up loving it a lot and gave it 5 stars. There's just something in her writing that adapts so well to different genres and hooks you in slowly by slowly. Might give The Hollow Places a try too; I think it will be a nice gateway to the horror genre.
Kate Elliot has a space-opera series of novels that sounds interesting too!
Yes I totally agree! She just has this writing especially with her spookier books that just pulls you in. And I love her humor in both her fantasy and horror. I loved Nettle & Bone too so i'm so happy you enjoyed it as well.
I'll have to try those ones then since I'm trying to get more in to sci-fi and I just read servant mage and enjoyed the writing a lot!

The horror genre isn't really my taste but I admit: there are a lot of good horror stories in books.
