  • Today, we’re moving down to the lower extremity where we are using non contrast enhanced MRA QISS technique. I will show you “how I do it” when it comes to the planning part. You will be very surprised how easily this is if following certain rules. I will break each step into details for having a successful result.

    I love/hate doing these because I know the very basics. Thanks for explaining this. Also, I had a 6’2 patient and the scanner gave me a message saying something about the area I was trying to scan was out of table range. So do you see this happen a lot? Or is this because I didn’t isocenter mid legs? We center 7” above feet but that didn’t help in that situation with this tall pt.

    • @Nguyen_MRI
      @Nguyen_MRI  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks. No Shouldn’t be a problem as long as setup is correctly performed. Double check the feet step if you not scanning a lot of air without any anatomy. Then troubles can occur. Also iso mode is a smart move.
