- Today, we’re moving down to the lower extremity where we are using non contrast enhanced MRA QISS technique. I will show you “how I do it” when it comes to the planning part. You will be very surprised how easily this is if following certain rules. I will break each step into details for having a successful result.

Hi I'm radiography working in Ethiopia thank you for your tutorial
Sir, could you please share a video for LIVER LAB in Siemens
After acquiring transverse data.. We need to compose it in 3D card for MIP... But when there is difficulty can occur for composing in 3D
Plz sir shere MRS & MRI PERFUSION VEDIOS
I love/hate doing these because I know the very basics. Thanks for explaining this. Also, I had a 6’2 patient and the scanner gave me a message saying something about the area I was trying to scan was out of table range. So do you see this happen a lot? Or is this because I didn’t isocenter mid legs? We center 7” above feet but that didn’t help in that situation with this tall pt.
Thanks. No Shouldn’t be a problem as long as setup is correctly performed. Double check the feet step if you not scanning a lot of air without any anatomy. Then troubles can occur. Also iso mode is a smart move.
@@Nguyen_MRI I will try that next time, thank you!! I’m binge watching all your videos 😅 great info!!
One vedio shere all mri parameters work
Is there any way to use QISS to get venogram images like time of flight technique with some reversal of saturation pulse?
Yes possible.
@@Nguyen_MRI Can you provide some info on it. I am unable to figure it out myself. A video or some pointers on what options to change in the sequence will be mighty helpful.
what about NATIVE seq in aera 1.5 plz explain how can do it ?
Native TrueFisp?
Hi! Question. Does QISS sequence also usable for upper extremity? Thanks!
It’s not meant for that. But can try it out.
@@Nguyen_MRI thank you for your immediate response. I'm learning a lot on your videos. Please continue to make more 😁
can it go up to include the abdominal aorta?
Check this link. It works to approx this area.

Can you use Qiss for other areas of the body? Upper extremity MRA? Better for slow flow rather than fast?
Good question. I’ve seen papers where they done it for cardiac cor arteries. Also neck area. But I haven’t tried it myself.
