MR NativeSpace is a non contrast enhanced angiography of the peripheral vessels. This approach has been around for years, but doing it wrongly can cause bad results. After request from my viewers I’m happy to find time to make this video for you all. I will try to break it down easily on how to perform it part, along with post processing with the final datasets.

Hi Bac, in my organization we do it the same way, sometimes using pulse gating instead of ECG.

It’s a bit difficult due to many 3 parts software out there. We are using circle cvi.
Can u pls tell me the good parameters for chest wall (sternum) imaging in Siemens 3 t Skyra
Is it bad that in watching this while standing in a pool on vacation? Also would a vessel scout be a quicker option for one or both localizers? And I'm wondering the pros/cons of this vs qiss. We have an Aera system with the same software and just last week started scanning on a Sola system that has qiss and the newer software. Anyway, love your videos, keep up the good work!

Vessel scout, could be a smart move there I just haven’t tried that. Native space suffer when you have different flow on both of the legs. While qiss is more robust towards this flow issue. Qiss however can suffer from banding artifact due to the sequence itself is a balanced ssfp.
I would choose qiss as first choice if having the possibilities to do so. I find it faster and more robust. Just my opinion.

I haven’t tried. I believe it could be difficult. You can use old school tof venous or qiss venous approach.

Bac, what sequences do you run for non ce & ce mra of thoracic aorta in your institution?
Ce mra flash based approach. Can find in the angiography folder under SIEMENS. for non mra 3D truefisp works great.
