3 to 4 a day? What for an infant?! What about if I’m using them to make almond milk that means I can only drink a thimble full?😂
Lectins are proteins found in plants and animals, and are most commonly found in grains and legumes. They can be resistant to digestion and bind to carbohydrates and sialic acid, which is why they are sometimes called "sticky proteins". Lectins can cause digestive problems and inflammation when they damage the gut. In people with food sensitivities or autoimmune disease, lectins may contribute to leaky gut and inflammatory bowel disease. However, most lectins are harmless and can be removed by cooking and boiling

The skin of the almonds is difficult to digest. Moreover, almond skin contains tannins, which lowers the rate of nutrient absorption. Hope that helps!
Does the number of almond you soak matter to eat?
How long sould almonds be soaked?

Cholesterol went fm 260 to 176 in 2 months: DAYLY; 24 almonds (2.3 carbs), 3 small pcs dark chocolate (1.7 carbs) , 1 small avocado (about 5 carbs) … and also mushrooms, asparagus, salmon… and 2 tbsp olive oil when I wake up… had 2 - 4 whole eggs per day , they have nothing to do with high cholesterol… neither does red meat, but I didn’t have any…just in case…
Not only soaking takes time… they taste awful!
