    Yes, this does show Oreo's beautiful voice. I love when bands go acoustic as it usually does show how good the singers are.

    Thanks Gents, it's this sort of thing that makes me put Gacharic Spin as my number 1 spot for vocal arrangements in a rock band context, next level vocal harmonies and arrangements
    Tomo-zo's incredibly tasteful guitar solo and the way it interleaves with Oreo's piano is stunning as well
    Every member of the band is play precisely what is needed with perfect touch and feel and awareness of what everyone else is doing, synchronicity in motion

    This was the full lineup--it was shortly after Armmy had left (she died in 2015), and Hana and Oreo Reona took over vocals. I agree, it's a gorgeous song. They later went on to do an acoustic version of "Setsunaku" which you really must check out. It was recorded after Armmy died and is quite moving.

    At this show they also had the dancers Mai and Arisa, but they were off stage (having a well earned breather) during the semi-acoustic part.
    GS reactions tend to focus on the high energy performances as its where they stand out most from other bands (and it is the bulk of their songs to be fair), but true fans of theirs appreciate that they can basically play any style, and its great when reactors get to see that and appreciate it too.
    The thing I love most about GS is that they're all-in whatever they're doing - whether that's maximum energy or maximum emotion.

    One of my favorite songs/arrangements by them. They usually have an acoustic interlude in all their full concerts, so it's nothing unusual. Those songs are not always ballads per se, it's just some songs of theirs arranged as ballads. They ususally also have an extensive MC-part during their shows, when Tomo-Zo tells embarassing stories about each band member. They have to take a breather once in a while during their insane shows.

    Love the emotion in this song and Ital is right - the intimacy and mood of the song would be lost in a bigger setting . It takes real talent and musicianship to carry off a performance like this so convincingly and sincerely when your default setting on stage is manic chaos and over the top everything - and they achieve it superbly !
    BTW - thought the best part of the whole reaction was where Asad had to be bleeped out ๐Ÿคฃ

    For sure acoustic version fits the subject matter better probably, the album version I wouldn't even call a ballad, it's more of a rock song that feature synth bass and interesting vocal effects, so it's barely recognizable.
