  • This is a laser engraving project that is very easy to do and can be done for Profit with only a few pennies in cost. Empty beer bottles are in abundance and with an Xtool D1 you can give them new life. Watch the step by step process and be inspired by how easy it is to make some money with the Xtool D1 or other Diode laser with a rotary device.

      Could not think of a nicer compliment. I just did another one for a friend who is build a cabin. I etched a cabin on the bottle and labeled it cabin fund. Then I put a little money in it. I was told this was heirloom memory stuff. This one I did on a quart beer bottle. Again thanks, CHEERS!

      I agree, for a diode laser, I think the tempura paint is the best way to go. But with a C02 there are so many more options , faster and no masking required. I have a C02 Shopping text video that is in edit stage right now, I bet you like it... Thank you for the very nice comment and tip.

    If you have an air compressor you can buy some cheap but effective airbrush supplies 20-30 bucks at harbor freight. If you don’t have an air compressor they sell a couple of kits with small quiet tankless compressor for about $100 that work very well.

    • @GeorgeKennerLaser
      @GeorgeKennerLaser  Před 2 lety

      You are totally correct. I used the Preval to show people they could do this on several products for about 6 dollars. But the better wasy is with an air compressor and air brush if you have the space for those.

    • @GeorgeKennerLaser
      @GeorgeKennerLaser  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you for the nice comment. I suggest about a 70/30 mix of paint to water to start. I would try and make it as thick as the preval will handle, the reason is that it sticks best to the beer bottle that way. You will have to put in on in coats. making sure that you can not see light through the glass area where you are going to engrave. I think it normally takes me 4 or 5 coats.

      I would bet it is the software and a switch inside the software. To test this I would go to the Xtool software that is the most simple and test it there and see what happens. If not you may have a wiring problem. The plugs are pretty small you may have a bent prong in one of the connectors. (just good guesses, hope this helps)
