You are of course entitled to your opinion but RUDE, may be pushing the intent of the video. I always encourage people to do their own research. And when you look at life span of the tubes and strength and recent improvements in price RF tubes are affordable. I in fact have a Laser on the way that contains but and RF and Glass tube. I know doing this video would bring comments like this. Stepcraft are between good and GREAT machines .. the better the craftsman the better results they seem to get... So the message is, Want to be a great craftsman, get great machines. Stepcraft makes me very happy with my results.

I purchased it at Frosts Hardwood in San Diego about 4 years ago... and I just can not bring myself to a point that I want to cut if up... but someday it will come down. Hope you enjoyed the video... let me know if I can help... CHeers.

Thank you for the GREAT comment. Just knowing you can go see yourself is to me EPIC. Plus the innovation of Aeon is just unmatched. Things like Docking Station for the Laser Tube, the mirror adjustment system and tool less mirror system are just over the top cool and efficient. Cheers!

I say this trying to be as far as possible to all machines. They are not created the same, Being a user few years experience I know fit and finish matter that is what makes this facility so amazing and useful. Look and compare. Our own eyes are better than spec sheets.

I am not POSITIVE that the tube has gold in it. But I know many electrical components do have tiny amounts of gold to act as a very good electrical conductor... I will look into this and see if I can get a better answer for you.

It has the air assist thingy and some kinda air filter thingy don't think it works to well but I will get an enclosure 4 sure so far it's OK thought I need to see how to use the app better

I do not know how but CZcams just posted this comment 3 weeks late... This sounds like a tech question for Xtool. I bet its a fault in the program or between your computer and program. Sometimes lasers do crazy stuff. But I bet it is program related.

I put my P2 on an enclosed filter system and dont get hardly any smell . unless I lift the cover. Then there is the residue smell from cutting wood or acrylic. Keeping the blade clean will minimize this.

Everyone has a right to their opinion. I was not an omtech buyer but I know there are some techie people that are happy with their machine. To my experience most people who like their Omtech spend lots of time dialing them in to get the best results. Just my observation.

I am not one for slamming other manufactures. Honesty I do not any experience with a dual head laser. I have heard the same industry grumblings about that other company. I strongly suggest that you look into the Aeon Redline it has some features like easy access to all components, the easiest mirror and lens cleaning system, a closed system box and more and more. This is a two part system and both require that the cartridge be replaced. I have had it for a few years and just about to replace both cartridges.

Connie don't tell me that..... I am so wanting a Aeon NOVA....lol.. but I only do the HOBBY thing.. I don't sell anything. I am trying not to spend the inheritance... Oh well... only live once... Going to visit friend in Florida in Mid July maybe I end up at Aeon.. just saying.

Sometimes audio modulation is a function of CZcams and it gets better after about 24 hours... Thank you for the nice complement about the content. I have a few more along this line I am going to do.

I agree with you the docs on UCCNC are weak that is the reason I did this video... Stepcraft did launch a new training service... its paid but may well be worth it.

I love this rack... there were some tiny assembly issues but for value this was GREATT

@@GeorgeKennerLaser actually the a1 is the way to go it’s currently on sale for 339. It is great for beginners as it’s 0 tinkering required and has a Huge user base . Feel free to reach out if you need any more suggestions

Why the mini ? Is there a bigger version ? I want a Minimal Hassle type printer that can do all the colors but i want to print BIG things ! Like a helmet or a football size . What is best for me ? i hate mini . I want Go big or GO HOME

@@gtxoiltastebad depends on budget both are great machines. Go for the biggest one you can afford. The mini is 150mm cubed I believe and the. A one is a typical 250mm cubed. Not sure even that would be big enough for a full sized helmet tho. You’ll have to double check that. But short of costume stuff like that 250mm should cover 98% of you needs

I would test it at 45 power and a slow speed of about 40 You have to get threw the tape . Focus distance can effect this result. I have seen people get good result and some call it an failed process.

The new Redline with the toolless mirror and lens removal will be copied by others. But they are the leaders and I have a feeling will be for some time to come. The process is so simple and you end up with a Mold that is FIRST CLASS for the cost of the Silicone alone. I have a few more things I am going to do with this soon more simple hints.

I am sure there is not a lot of Platinum in it but here is the answer. "Platinum cure" refers to a type of silicone rubber that is cured using a platinum-based catalyst. This is in contrast to other curing methods, such as tin-based (or condensation cure) systems. CURE means harden. Come into Laser Freedom there are a lot of people in there smarter than me.

I totally understand. Everyone wants you to get the right tool for the job. If you are thinking of making money with the machine, the key is to figure out if you can make money with the one you are thinking of buying. Can you make it pay for itself. As Hope said she has several lasers, everyone starts someplace. Lightburn is the program, you could start the learning process with and inexpensive diode machine. There is going to be and update soon. "The Experience" is still up and running but now they have the redlines there. I went to the ISA show and saw what the other Manufactures were making. There were very few changes nothing like the Tool less Mirror and lens change system. I am sure you would be happy if you selected a REDLINE.
