It just slipped into my mind to see what was on the MSDS Sheets,,, (now called the Saftey Data Sheets),,,, also some people used to call them Materials Saftey Data Sheets but when I was in the GOV. we had to know who the Manufacture was. Cheers and thanks for the comment.

That's great low-level info, I'm also looking forward to a video explaining the workflow of your tables!!
There is more coming... a Epoxy Company wants me to do one to show people how I make the molds... it is really pretty easy. To me I can not stand having leaking epoxy anywhere. Thanks. To the text about GAS: I worked in a tank farm for a bit. The actual gasoline is indeed the same (there's only a few refineries in each state) but, each brand gets a different mix of additives when the tanker is filled. So each brand is definitely different.
Thank you for the comment. I had a friend that worked for the EPA who told me that the change in any mix is so minor it really does not matter, just enough that they can call it different. If there was a big change it would change the emissions and that would not be "good" from the standpoint of Government Compliance. It would be interesting to see what the SDS says on Gas. I may have to look that up. Thank you for the comment.
Thanks for testing that. I had the same results. I purchased the expansive epoxy at first. When the budget was tight i got the cheap no name epoxy. I was surprised they preformed exactly the same on identical workpieces. I now buy the affordable more reasonably priced brands.

Good insight. I worked in the Aerospace Industry for 38 years and never encountered an MSDS just from the distributor. Things change unfortunately. Caution is paramount here. Thanks.
Yea I have a feeling that in some industries this would not pass if you wanted to sell the product but Epoxy to the Public can do it legally and I checked.

So Im typing while still listening but the episode that cam refured to was one of his first projects and not sure he was using a good one at the time. It wasn't the one he was using later. Also white isn't the best color to hide yellowing. I use liquid glass cause I dont have the time to reattach and try all the different ones and their deep pour is very scratch resistant which is important to me, Ive used some that dont get hard enough.
Thank you for your comment is “Liquid Glass” the one that you use. I would be interested if they are the actual chemical manufactures of the resin or if they are distributors. Great video but they dont and never have called it a manufacturer safety dats sheet. MSDS stands for Material safety data sheet
When I worked for the GOVERMENT we were looking for a direct contact to the manufacture in case there was an accident. We called them manufacture. In the evert of a flammable we had to call the manufacture and check on the phone number provided. As Agent would get injured and had to have light duty, we would take on tasks like this as we recovered from the injury. That is why I had to do it. This goes back into the 1980s. BUT I will agree that "Materials" may have been somewhat of a equally used term outside of the Agency I worked for. Thank you for the comment.
Im curios as to how the foam holds up. On a wrong day like its to hot or the pour is to thick epoxy can heat up enough to start a fire. My last one hit 190 deg before I got it cooled down.
The foam was for silicon, it did not really get hard. I have used this system twice. I can feel the need for another follow up.
