Why Poshmark is the Biggest Untapped Dropshipping Opportunity

- Dropshipping on poshmark has been absolutely EXPLODING as of late. I’ve been dropshipping on poshmark for about 2 years now…and ever since I scaled it up, I’ve been averaging almost $1,000 profit every month on the platform. But since the start of September (with Q4 demand approaching), my poshmark sales have pretty much doubled.

Now, will $2,000 a month make you a millionaire? No.
But, that amount of money can be life changing for A LOT of people out there.
In todays’ video I’m going to break down how to PROPERLY dropship on poshmark
….as well as give you my entire formula on how I approach this (literally from a to z)…so you can replicate exactly what I’m doing and hopefully get similar results.
The great thing about poshmark is a lot of it can be automated with software.
And….just like dropshipping anywhere else….you don’t need to purchase large sums of inventory ahead of time
you ONLY have to purchase products AFTER you get a sale…and AFTER you’re guaranteed to profit
And You can leverage other people logics and inventory
The main issue with dropshipping on poshmark is that to be successful long term….you need to use their shipping labels.
This is both a drawback….but also a benefit.
Unlike dropshipping on other sites, you can’t simply facilitate the transaction remotely….by ordering it directly to the customer and then giving them the tracking number.
You need to order it to yourself first….then use the poshmark label (and either drop it off at your local post office, in one of those blue bins, or have your mailman take it).
And yes…that adds another step in the process…and it adds your time to the equation.
BUT, because of this added step….the dropshipping competition on this website is extremely low
And you can rake in the sales…simply b/c you’re competing again reseller’s who need to have all their inventory on hand FIRST….where as you can list thousands of things from other websites you don’t have.
Now, before I give you my exact formula to success for this…I want to make sure that you understand technically dropshipping on poshmark IS against their terms of service.
You’re not supposed to dropship on the platform.
Although, since we’re using poshmark labels…we won’t run into any issues…and we’re somewhat abiding by their platform rules (which is to ship out the product from your location yourself with the poshmark label).
So, step 1 is to list LOTS of products.
Whenever I say this, I get inevitably get people that message me and say they’ve listed 50 things and gotten no sales.
LIST LOTS. It’s really simple. No matter the platform…when you’re retail dropshipping and there’s 0 cost for you to list something…..
Then list as much as you can.
The more products you have up…the more fishing poles you’ll have in the water…..and the more fish you’ll catch.
It’s not complicated….and I’m not special. I just list more than most people. That’s all.
You can list from websites like amazon (using prime), Walmart (using Walmart +), or really any other website (or store) that you can have the product in hand in 2-3 days.
Poshmark gives you 3 days to ship the product out….and then they actually give you a few days after that too once your 3 days is up….
But as a rule of thumb, list products that you can have in hand within 2-3 days max.
That’s why I suggest amazon prime and Walmart + (b/c there’s millions of products you can list that are high quality, with good pictures and descriptions, that can ship to you fast)
When you list them, you want to make sure you mark them up a decent amount….b/c unlike other platforms, poshmark fees are relatively high (in fac they’re the highest of any retail website I believe).
I typically mark my products up about 60-75% on poshmark….and yes…I still get plenty of sales.
I do this by using a software called zeedrop. It’ll be linked with a discount code in the description.
Zeedrop copies products from websites like amazon, Walmart, and dozens of others….to poshmark in seconds. - Jak na to + styl
Hey! Thank you so much for this video! It is not the first I have seen of yours- I have watched a couple more but the first one I TRULY understand, as I am a complete newbie to drop-shipping! I have an online store but just started ds. It clearly is NOT as easy as some ppl make it seem but it IS easier & I truly believe, if we do it right -- WILL be life-changing thanks to ppl like you who are willing to take the ACTUAL time it takes to explain things/steps in DETAIL!! The only way it is AS easy as certain ppl claim it to be unless you already have lots of money or are not neurotic control freaks like myself... LOL & it's not necessarily about being a control freak but about wanting your store to be customer service based & KNOW what is truly happening w/your shop & the items in it. Another thing they never focus on is product research. So thank you SO VERY MUCH for taking time to give REAL LIFE answers/tips/details which ppl can REALLY use! Otherwise people waste SO much time when learning how to do something like this with videos by ppl who do not actually know what they are talking about! TIME IS MONEY!!! It is HARD enough to manage our time! So, I do not care if it is the longest video in history, as long as it is HONEST & Informative! I am doing some things a little differently than you but that's okay! You made me realize things I did not before, learn things I did not know, & understand things a little better! At the end of the day, if a video provides ONE of those, I AM HAPPY!!!! ;)
Excellent video! The best! Thanks Bryan
Thanks! Hope it helps! 👊👊
Thank you❣
Glad it helps!
Awesome videos, thank you so much. Subscribed with all notifications. Wishing you all the best!
The only thing that worries me about this is if Amazon is late with the package or something as I promise fast shipping to customers. But I am totally excited about being able to list more with no storage bc I am running out of space
It’s a game changer 🙌 just make sure you’re only listing prime products and you’ll be good. Posh gives you 3 days to ship out…but then they actually extend it a few more days after that.
love it
Oh and to the viewers- In reference to what I was saying below: Some ways to recognize some of the ppl I am referring to... TIME WASTERS -- Do not worry about if the person doing the video(s) does things EXACTLY the same as you -- Look for terms such as: "The easiest thing" ... "LAZY" .. "Lazy ways to make money" ..." VERY LITTLE WORK"... "completely passive income" ... If you are a hands on business owner & trying to learn about drop-shippinng... You may want to steer clear from ppl with those terms ONLY BECAUSE they are probably only out for views & even if they really do own their own shop(S), they probably do not/have never done it themselves. It is MUCH better & time consuming to listen to people who ACTUALLY know from experience. Everyone's experience is different but filtering out the ones who do not truly have that experience you NEED to get ahead in hat you are trying to do, will honestly make a huge difference in your learning process! ESPECIALLY in the beginning stages!!
What would you recommend for someone who doesn't live in either Canada or the US for Poshmark use. I have an account on which I sold fairly well but don't live in Canada anymore. Thoughts?
If you don’t live in either country at the moment I’d pick a site where you can dropship from anywhere in the world (Amazon, Etsy, etc)
Hey Bryan,
I actually have a question about a video you did suggesting using va’s to list products to fbmp instead of listing items personally and how that will help from getting banned.
I don’t understand, if they are listing to your account....how does that avoid getting banned.....it’s the same account whether you list or having a va list products.
I was referring to Facebook shops with that. B/c on shops you can add someone else to your business manager and give them listing access to it…and their Facebook account is the profile responsible for listing. Hope that helps clarify! Normal marketplace..there’s no way to do that. The best way is to list from obscure suppliers if you want to be safe long term (or at the very least avoid branded titles, pictures, etc…) I’ve noticed a lot of the IP complaints come from eBay (at least from what I’ve seen).
Hi Bryan, do you pay for shipping when sending out the packages? If so, how does that affect your profit margins?
Nope customers pay for shipping on poshmark 👍
Can you make a specific video on how you use simple posher?
I have a few already. Search for poshmark automation on the channel 👍
Hi bryan , is it necessary to get the products from the supplier and then ship it to the customer or just from the supplier to the costumer directly (like telling him the necessary thing and he will take it) ? , im just a beginner one
Yeah you can’t dropship directly to the customer on poshmark. You need to use their label. Thank you notes will result in suspension eventually
Hi! I’m new to your channel. I got your Poshmark course on Udemy and then found your CZcams channel. I have not sold yet on Poshmark. I have many items in my closet to sell. Can I start with my closet and then also with the drop shipping at the same time? I’ve dropshipped before on Shopify. I hear your difference between drop shipping on Poshmark and Shopify
Yeah you can do both for sure. You’ll start to notice dropshipping is so much easier because you don’t need to store anything and keep track of it. I did both in the beginning and then slowly realized reselling this almost wasn’t worth it comparatively
Can you make a video on facebooks shop new way of listing? You need a third party website for the product to be purchased on now if I’m not mistaken.
No you don’t (to my knowledge). I still have a few shops that have checkout and are operating as normal. I have a few connected to Shopify stores too though if that’s what you’re referring to
How does simple posher evade reCAPTCHA? Also, thank you for all of this information.
Glad it helps! It stops when it gets captcha’d
Are you no longer sending a postcard with shipping label and sending the item from Amazon or eBay etc
Nope haven’t for a while now.
I feel like it’s risky b/c all it takes is one customer to report you
I just set started listing items in my closet. I got 30 items in there which took me several hours to list. Now they have flagged my account and removed all my listings! due to counterfeit concerns. I'm so devastated. I submitted a petition. I hope I can sell here. Your videos really got me excited about this reselling opportunity.
Sounds like a mistake. I would report it to support and ask what the issue is. I’ve never heard of that happened before 🤔
@@BryanGuerratv now they've reinstated my account and 30 listings! But they said there won't be any more warnings so I could be permanently banned if I don't adhere to their guidelines. I just did exactly what you said in your videos. I'm going to continue to list and hope for the best.
I just noticed I've got 25/30 listings. They didn't like the cat trees and litterbox furniture I listed in the pet category. Just thought I'd let you know so you or others don't try to list the same and get in trouble.
@@meltaz2284 Weird, sorry to hear that happened! Did they reinstate your account?
@@meltaz2284 Nvm seeing the answer here. I've honestly never heard of that happening on poshmark. I've listed literally like 10K+ things lol. I guess stay away from cat litterboxes?? Something must have flagged their algorithm on a listing I guess. That's a new one
Bryan Do you have any videos on using Poshmark or the cost of Selling the items as far as fees etc. Thanks, I have never used it before by will start
Yeah there’s plenty of poshmark dropshipping tutorials on this channel. Just search for them 👍 at the end of a listing it tells you the fees and your estimated profit…so you can play around with your price & make sure you’re profitable
?Thanks Bryan I appreciate it
@@edwardoconnell5140 Anytime!
Has a drop shipper ever run out of the item you have listed. is that something to worry about?
Very rarely but yes it does happen once and a while. I mainly list things with lots of reviews so there’s a strong likelihood they don’t go out of stock or change prices. But if they do then I’ll either take the profit loss on that sale and list it higher next time, send them something similar, or cancel the order. It might happen once every other month ish, but it’s rare. And my other sales compensate for it.
Just saw this video. Do you think I can use items from ebay? I have done this with fbmp and the shipping times arent that long but compared to amazon it is longer? Most items from ebay are usually coming from warehouses within USA
Probably not because on poshmark you need to ship in 3 days
@@BryanGuerratv That makes sense but have you tried sending the ebay item straight to the customer then just send the shipping label provided by poshmark with a thank you letter?
@@alfredrocillo885 yes it leads to a suspension I don't recommend it
Hey, I'm going to start drop shipping on Facebook marketplace, should I create a new Facebook account dedicated to selling, or should I just sell on my personal Facebook?
Use your personal account don’t open another
Do you think you can do it with CJdropshipping and a thank you note? Or do you think that takes too long?
Takes too long. And the thank you note is risky if you do it too much. All it takes it one person to report you.
@@BryanGuerratv What if i asked the customer if they were okay waiting for the product? Like told themi would send a ty with tracking first and then they'd get it?
@@TwlightWhispers you can try it...I don't think it'll work well...and I think you'll eventually run into issues with your account, but go for if you'd like to give it a shot.
@@BryanGuerratv would it work to retail arbitage from cjdropshipping and just have customers wait to have it ship? I'm pretty sure poshmark lets the customer decide if they cancel the order, so couldn't they be informed, then not cancel, then have yourself ship to them after it come to you?
Is there anywhere where you explain how to use the bulk feature?
Yeah, I have one for poshmark but it might be on my 2nd channel. Here’s one for FBM - it’s the same approach just switch the zeedrop setting to bulk upload to poshmark not FBM: czcams.com/video/cP3l_XwzDPU/video.html
when listing your products, do you add them all to your boutique, I'm not sure what that is
You can if they’re new. It doesn’t really matter imo
what's your average profit margin for your listing and your price range@@BryanGuerratv
Prices are $25-200. Margin is usually 30%+
Hi, Bryan. Thank you for your informative video. Why does Poshmark keep blocking me from listing new items?
Glad it helps! Honestly not sure...sounds like maybe they're limiting you because you're new (or maybe not in the US or CA?). I'd reach out to support and report it
@@BryanGuerratv It happened to me twice. I'm in the US. I guess it is because my account is still new... 🤔 I have reached out to them. Thank you so much for your response!
@@atnnds0239 Glad to help! Weird, I've never heard of that before...maybe it's just b/c you're brand new...or it could be a glitch?
Hi Bryan, how do you deal with returns on PM?
I usually don’t get returns b/c if you list the item correctly (showing the right pictures, size, color, etc…) they’re technically not allowed to return it. Although, in the rare chance I make a mistake…the listing doesn’t clearly explain that…or they’re allowed to return it for some reason, I’ll just return it to the supplier when they send it back to me.
Do you factor in the cost to ship it out to the customer for a platforms like Facebook or ebay where shipping is not automatically built in?
Not sure what you mean. When I dropship on Facebook marketplace I usually dropship items that don’t have a shipping cost so it’s not factored in…but if there was a shipping cost then for a specific item then yeah I would increase my price to account for that and remain profitable by a certain %. Hope that helps clarify 👍
@@BryanGuerratv thank you!

Yeah just search the channel for OfferUp. I’ve done a few tutorials on it 👍
Thanks for the video Bryan. Love from India :). I would like to know that how someone who is outside USA can do it as they can't affix the Poshmark label by ordering the products from Amazon?
You can do it using a prep center yeah. The prep center would receive and ship out your orders from the US for a slight fee per product
@@BryanGuerratv Thanks for the answer :)
@@Deva2596 glad to help!
Love from India. What is prep?
@@hasteraho1349 A prep center
Bryan, about how many sales a day do you get on poshmark with around 15k listings?
3-5ish usually
During Q4 it’s much higher but that’s not normal
How are u suppose to do this without buying the product first? Bc on Poshmark u don’t get the money until the buyer receives it.
You do buy the product first. But you’re already guaranteed to profit when you get more money back
hmm can’t do this in uk can i, back to drawing board
Yeah right now it’s only for US and CA, but they’re expanding into Europe in the future.
My tiny little concern is that Amazon often changes item price. Won't you lose money if you list a product at, say, $90 on Poshmark when it's worth $50 on Amazon, and then it changes to like $100 at some point? Or is this never a problem for you?
If you mark your products up enough you rarely run into that issue. And Amazon prices fluctuate sometimes but not significantly. For example…let’s say you list something from $40 to $70. Then the price goes up to $50…you’re still profitable at $70. Hope that helps!
@@BryanGuerratv That's true!! Think I'll follow your example and list it for about 65% profit. Thanks, Bryan!

You said we have to use poshmarks shipping label can you jus put the buyers shipping address lets say into amazon and ship it from there to the buyer and jus print out the label and jus say act like u used the label?
That doesn’t work. Eventually you’ll get caught and get in trouble. I use to recommend send the label with a thank you note…but I don’t recommend that anymorr
Hi Bryan! How do you bulk list from Amazon to poshmark? Is it possible?
Yeah it’s possible. You can bulk list the same way you can on Facebook marketplace. I use zeedrop. I add a bunch of listings to the bulk list and then just run it. Then it’ll basically do 98% of the work for me. I just need to publish the listings after editing a few things. Check out one of my bulk listings to marketplace tutorials. Then just apply the same thing to poshmark…and change the zeedrop settings to poshmark (not marketplace)

Hi, Bryan. Thank you for another great video! Most of the time, the information from the gurus on CZcams does help at all and I ended up losing money. However, I have been following your advice and I could actually see the result! I tried to dropship on Mercari and the first month it brought me $300 and I had reached $1000 in a month and a half (after I got used to it). It was a foundation for me to do a lot of things. I was so thrilled! But then they sent me an email stating that I violated their policy and deleted more than half of my listings :( Could you please show me how to continue without getting banned from the site? Much appreciated!
Glad the videos are helping! On mercari you need to be careful what you list. You need to list products that have review images...or look like the pictures are taken by you (not stock photos). You can also do dropship arbitrage with a mercari label if you want to be safe....but that's not necessary on mercari.

None on poshmark really. The customer isn’t allowed to return it unless it’s a different item then advertised on the listing
Can we send the buyer a thank you card or something small using the poshmark shipping label and then actually dropship the real product straight from the supplier? Wouldn’t this work as well because poshmark will think you sent the product using their shipping label. Please let me know if this is a good idea.
And is poshmark dropshipping still making you money or is it dead like facebook
