You installed the GMT hand at the 12 position but when you installed the minute hand it was at the 6 position. Im about to build my first GMT. I would have thought all hands get installed at the 12 position. Beautiful watch by the way
The GMT hand is installed when set to the 12 position at 0:00 hours, then using the crown, advance it 12 hours forwards so it is pointing down, which makes it at 12:00 hours. This way it is out of the way to install the hour hand, the minute hand and the seconds hand. It is done this way for easiness. You will be able to make adjustments to the hour hand without the GMT hand being too close or limiting adjustments. Also, they do not scratch each other if the hour hand slips whilst intallation.
