I’m really glad you like this performance! I really love them! They sound great in every language, because they sing in italian, Spanish, English, portugués and a little german . I love their version of Granada directed by Placido Domingo itself. The one you like is Ignazio Boschetto! Very talented indeed, he is my daughter’s favorite. My favorite is Piero the one with glasses, I will send you a suggestion of his solo with the song Where do I begin live in la arena di verona, very nice! Ignazio’s solo is carusso and Somos Novios of Luis Miguel, they had expressed their great admiration for Luis Miguel and they would love to sing with him but I don’t see that happening because Luis Miguel doesn’t really do duets anymore
Guys this is not for you to react but this video is recorded by me in their concert in February when my little daughter was lucky enough to have one of them Gianluca to sing to her ! He was amazing, all 3 of them are very down to earth and very humble young men, since o sole mío is the song that made them famous they always go down to the crowd during that song as an appreciation to their fans and my daughter was extremely lucky to get picked by Gianluca! They were very young and their voices were purer, especially Ignazio. He has been reckless with it and for a few years he was having trouble with his top notes and even maintaining pitch from time to time, while Piero and Gianluca have been constantly improving. You can even see how the other two often covered for him. However, it looks like he has been working on his technique and voice and he seems to be “coming back.” They are s great trio!

I’m sorry but no, il divo are grown up man with very different voices from Il volo, il divo can’t sing opera because they are not really classical singers. They are really nice too but is not the same concept and the name is similar but Il divo and il volo are italian names with the only difference that il volo are really italian and il divo are from different countries and I don’t think none of them are italian. So different ages, different styles, different voices and nacionalitues so there is no coping at all.
Carmen Leyva is a similar but different at the same time because Il volo sings not only popular songs but areas of opera like nessum dorma, granada and the entire repertory of the three tenors, they also sing many different genres of music including bachata, regueton, baladas, boleros y rancheras and the fact they were so young and had those voices is what make them really stand out when they first came out, they were teenagers with huge voices.

Carmen Leyva No they didn’t, that’s your appreciation but is not the reality, they were put together as a coincidence they never thought in forming a group, they competed in a talent show independently they didn’t copy anything, they were put together as a modality of the talent show were they have to form a group just like they do in the voice kids and the producer Michelle Torpedine was fascinated with their performance and after the contest was over he offered them to form the group, and how could they refuse Torpedine discovered Andrea Bocelli and was his manager for many years. I don’t think Torpedine knows who Il divo is to try to copy them.
