- Who says you can't have chocolate brownies instead of a Birthday cake?! ... Especially when they are biscoff brownies. The caramelised ginger spiced biscuits are in the brownies in spread and biscuit form, whilst the brownie itself is deliciously gooey and moist.... these were insanely naughty!

@@PsychGirlRaven When it cools down, the butter acts as a binder and keeps the crumb together as a crust.
It's the same with a graham cracker crust, which is just plain graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter.
@@PsychGirlRaven it's needed to hold the crumbs together and form a consistent crust. Maybe he forgot or was trying something new. I would assume the crumbs would stick to the filling but not all of it

Those "Biscoff" (Lotus) biskits are available in Bulgaria only at gas station when you order coffee ... So I don't drink coffee but I had a chance to try one. Omg the best biskit in the world. I never remembered the brand ... but I knew the shape ... Anyway, I've never ever seen them in any store ... until last month. We have new shop that have expensive items from Italy, UK and more ... mostly new items ... Never seen before ... and I saw that pack of "Biscoff" and I got the small one, to try them ... Well thank God they are the same as the ones at the gas station. I'm happy that I can by them. P.S. Do a video of how you do Biscoff.

Oh, I actually thought they are regular biscuits. That would have been better to me, I don't like speculoos.
I am from the Netherlands were the cookies come from where these cookies are based on and here we call it speculaas (yes, speculoos and speculaas are 2 slightly different products)
It's strange that the name changed over the channel, i would still prefer id Barry called them spéculoos (spek-u-los). Though they contain a mot of cinnamon (which he doesn't like at all iirc) he likes them and that makes me happy.

Noo brownie isn't quite like cake, you do want a little bit to come out on the skewer when you take them out as they continue cooking after. And (at least I do) you want them fudgy!! Don't want brownies to be like cake
I was thinking the same thing! Brownies are my specialty and I always take them out when they're still a bit wobbly in the middle and leave them to cool in the pan. Perfect every time 😍

Yeah, we call that a Food Processor in the U.S. A.(The machine, that you used to make cookie crumbs.) Blender is what is used to make Orange Julius;etc. It's a glass or plastic cup [1,L size cup] with three blades that you screwed on andthen put on the motor which can do such things as blend, purée, crumb; etc.

Happy Belated Birthday, Barry! I actually had brownies for my birthday this year! It was actually a double decker brownie cake kinda thing with Cetty Brocker icing in the middle.
Actually real fun little tip, if you whip Cetty Brocker with a hand mixer for like.. 2 minutes, it almost triples in volume and becomes super airy! Give it a try!

I reckon you can make crunchy biscoff brownie bites if you roll a bit of batter (bit more firm so it doesn't just flow all over the bowl of crumbs) through biscoff crumbs and put it in like a small cupcake pan or something. Looks fantastic mate!

Only reason to edit them out is a legal problem. I have noticed that in the last few videos he has been reluctant to do the seal. I suspect it happened at least 1 month ago based on the number of videos that he has not done his impression.
