Phineas and Ferb is a great example of a cartoon that ended when it should. One of the best cartoons of the last 20 years and didn't overstay... more cartoons should be like Phineas and Ferb.

A cartoon that should've gone on longer was Ed Edd n Eddy. I know it ended with a planned series finale but season six only got one episode.
Josh Serrano well the series finale was the movie. The last 20 min episode to air was the only one in season 6.
Josh Serrano the episode is called Look Before You Ed. Its not a prequel since it takes place in winter and the movie looks like it takes place in Spring or summer.

Tippy Dog Nicktoons is known as the death channel because it's where shows that aren't successful in ratings like The Loud House or Spongebob gets moved to Nicktoons and gets cancelled right away. It has happened to shows like Breadwinners, Tuff puppy, Pig Goat Banana Cricket, The Fairly oddparents and so much more! It might happen to Bunsen is a beast as well from the looks of it because it's rarely on Nickelodeon's schedule.

Tippy Dog I don't know! It has not been confirmed if The Fairly oddparents will continue or not. Plus, Butch Hartman is now working on Bunsen and I'm sure that he doesn't care about the Fairly oddparents anymore after that crossover with Bunsen. Although from the looks of his new show, it probably won't last long since it's not aired that much on the main channel.
Karen Evans yeah first in summer on Saturday they had new cartoon eps like Bunsen loud house (I think) and spongeBob then Bunsen reruns of loud house then of course SpongeBob then (either a week of new loud house or SpongeBob) then new eps of SpongeBob on Saturday mornings but Bunsen is probably like just a rerun show now

I hate that show. It might be good but wait for a few years and the show might get cancelled. Maybe the finale will be just like Angry Beavers Finale. And at the very end of the episode the characters will vanish out of no where and the screen will say "R.I.P". And then the show will end for good. And reruns will only be shown a few times each year.

If something goes on for too long, it will jump the shark, the writers will run out of good ideas so the episodes won't be creative like they used to be, they'll start adding new characters, that nobody wants,( Chloe) hoping,to bring in more viewers and the show will lose all of it's creativity.(fairy odd parents )etc.

That’s why I’m glad Phineas and Ferb ended after four seasons and a TV movie. It was a great show and Disney knew that they didn’t want it to get worse.

2001-06: Wow! What a show!
2008-12: Poof - Nice new character, also his anti-counterpart Foop
2013-15: Sparky - Meh. They kinda startin' to push it with this "new entry" thing. This magical dog is very far from a compelling character.
2016-17: Chloe - Here we are. This show is DEAD. R.I.P.! Not to mention the flanderization of the characters.
The episode of Spongebob with the splinter still gives me nightmares to this day.

The crazy thing is .. I think FOP was killed just a few months ago when it was moved to Nicktoons to air the rest of their tenth season and nothing has been announced regarding the show since. It's pretty obvious when an ongoing Nick show is moved to it's sister network it was pretty much sent to it's grave, but seeing this happen to FOP is bizzare especially since it lived a lot longer than other shows and has been competing against Spongebob all of it's life.
Pretty sad how not even the creator cares about FOP as Butch Hartman hasn't even said one thing about the status of this show. This show should NOT be renewed and needs to end now, but I want to hear it from Hartman that it's officially over.
