Ruth I'm so sorry I'm just now getting to this but this is for your initial startup of your pool. The only time you'll do a backwashing rinse after the startup is when you need to clean your filter system.
Ok i just had my bwp installed and the installation guy said watch CZcams lol so now i have questions 🤦♀️ do i put anything in pool before i back wash? Then do i need a certain kind of extension cord? And what all chemicals are needed i got an upgrade so im wondering if i have everything when does the salt go in? After backwash?
@@catieholder3927you will first do the backwash and then a rinse and then a second backwash and a second rinse and then after you do that you will go to filter mode and that's when you add your salt and your bleach. And as far as what size extension cords you need it has to be at least a 12 gauge extension cord do not get a 14 gauge it will burn your pump up.
For the start up, what way the 3 way valve is supposed to be?
Do you ever have to change the sand that's in the filter?
The sand and filter media as long as you do not over backwash it it should last about five to seven years maybe even longer
When do you turn ionizer on just got a blue world pool getting ready to backwash and rinse twice
I would turn your ionizer on whenever you start filtering your water and as long as your pump is running you should have your ionizer on a 3 or 4
What about putting on the ionizer???
The ionizer should be set on about a three or four
Do you use an ionizer too?
Yes the system has an ionizer. That needs to be changed once a year
