- Hey everyone, I am going to keep uploading these remasters as I finish them. I don't know whether or not to just do the temples, but there is more to come! Enjoy...

I love the orchestral arrangements people have made, but they'd never fit into the game itself. Your remasters have such an "official" feel to it with you using the original (or close) samples - everything sounds the same, but better. Great work and I'm happy the CZcams Algorithm recommended your channel to me!
Really happy to hear my remasters are reaching more people! And thanks for saying this, I do pride myself with this remaster format, and I completely agree with you. The only reason I started doing this is because other CZcamsrs' remasters are more dramatic and sound like they're meant to be in a film rather than the actual game...
@@starbender5468 Seconding this. These remasters are exactly what I've been looking for, for my D&D games. High quality and beautiful but still just like the original and loopable. Absoutely beautiful. Hats off to you mate! :)
>but they'd never fit into the game itself
UNLESS there's a PC version. Which is coming along withthe decomp project
@@gaeljs9493 Not my point. It's not about whether or not such a song can be ported into the game, but whether it fits with the rest of the game.
@@rhidor8524 Exactly: it's not a question of space, but a question of fitting stylistically with the content of the game. It would be a shame to do away with Koji's magnificent work and careful curation of instrument samples.
I have one of the original 'pre-edit' 1998 OoT cartridges. I just had a blast playing it through a week ago. The fire temple just isnt the same without this wonderful chanting track. Thank you for remastering it so people who dont even know it ever existed can enjoy it!
It's weird because as much as I like this version, the other version is what my brain feels I should be listening to.
*my longest yeah boy ever*
That rolling praising/worship/chanting is 👌👌👌👌
mashaallah may allah reward you for enjoying the sounds of our worship.
These are so awesome and well made. I can't wait for Fairy Fountain and Zelda's Lullaby
CZcams really needs to recommend small channel's videos more often. Subscribed!
This is 100% going in my ledgend of Zelda music playist it's sound so official like they could put the original version of the fire temple theme back in and have it be this version of it and it would be so good your remaster sound like the actual real thing if it was modernized it's so good youtube really needs to recommended smaller channels I'm glad it recommended you to me.
I'm shocked you have less then 300 subs. These remasters are amazing quality
I have the original N64 cartridge I got it in 1999 so I played it for a very long time until my N64 broke. I did not know it was changed until I was 18 in 2010 when I got the GameCube version. This version of the fire temple theme is one of my favorite Ocarina of time songs.
Call me crazy but when i visited Petra, this song was playing in my head all the way!
Nice remake mate!
I always thought the famous entrance used in Indiana Jones 3 looked more like the spirit temple.
@@Knightmessenger yeah it does lol
This was amazing, it seems so official! I got Goosebumps from this!
This is so clean, well done, incredible job 👏
Remasters so far all crispy clear. Keep up the great work.
This is awesome it’s honestly the best remastered version ever!!!
we need the title theme
dude these remasters are so good. My first play-through of OoT had the censored music in the fire temple but I remember playing through the game with a friend some 5 years later and his cartridge has the original music. I was like "hooooooooly shit this is amazing." (even tho I feel like Koji did a pretty good job of trying to capture the same 'feel' with re-used shadow temple samples).
keep up the awesome work. I'm definitely subbing and putting all of these into a playlist :)
I feel as if they should have kept a voice instead of the music we have now, I woulda just made a new sample in gibberish or something or like a hymn??
DO SPIRIT TEMPLE NEXT! one of the best video game tracks.
Hey, can't promise I'll do it next, but it's definitely planned!
X2 please
hey gurl whats up
Definitely one of my favorites from the game. This for me beats shadow temple but a slight margin. Awesome remasters!
just found this now but holy shit your remasters are so cool
Cant wait for the other two, I've never seen a shadow temple remaster and not any good spirit temple ones either so I'm looking forward to it!
Everyone is like "the music was eerie in the temple with the chant" whilst I was resenting enemies for stopping the song. I could literally just let Link hangout at the Temple's entrance to hear the music.
Glad I grew up with the original game and not the remake.
great job my guy keep it up !
I remember playing ocarina of time as a kid, and watching my siblings play it as well. I always loved this theme, the chants stuck with me for many years. At some point I lost my copy if ocarina, (I think my brother lent it to a friend and they never gave it back) But I was over at my cousins place and he was playing the later release version of Ocarina with OUT the chants. He just happend to be at the fire temple too, and I was so confused, I was like, wasn't this music differant?? I could of swore there was a chior or something chanting in the background. He had no idea what I was talking about. Later I took to youtube (very early youtube at that) and NO ONE had uploaded the original version, atleast to the extent that I could find. I felt like I had a false memory. It wasn't until even more years had passed where I understood the controversy, and that several versions of Ocarina of Time were released. Ironically now, it appears there has been a course correction, now I can't seem to find the edited version at all, which I think is good in its own right, just not as iconic.
As a kid I always wondered it felt like I was in the mosque when this track would come up
Awesome you did the original and not the crap they replaced it with. Since you’ve remastered awesome songs from a couple of my favourite games, I’m subscribing. Lol
Hey man will use this for my latest video this is the only remaster on youtube that mantains the original essence of the song! Great work!!!
The True Fire Temple!!!!!
thats it
I just discovered this and subscribed! Amazing work!
I've always had an idea of replacing the shadow temple voice samples with the choir samples from the N64 Rareware games like the ones used in Mayahem Temple in Banjo Tooie and Angry Aztec in DonkeyKong 64. I feel these samples would be fitting replacements if chorded and keyed correctly.
oh hey, its the answer to that question i just asked (lol my bad)...but bonus points for going with the Chanting version :D
🤣
Perfect
Man after this I would love to hear a Shadow Temple remaster!
Hell yeah
Gerudo valley sometime please? These are amazing. Best of luck to you in gaining traction man.
Amazing work!!! what is next? Spirit temple??? gerudo valley song? shadow temple??? please sometthing of that
Omgomgomg
🔥🔥🔥
This would fit perfectly into a remade Switch version of the game.
The version, who got removed. Removed version sounds like: Version with removed chants...
Others then that: great!
Just a reverb in The percussions and now is amazing sound.. Very good. The original sounds a litle" dry".
Massive eargasm bro 🥴 The Fire Temple theme smacked my booty cheeks hard upon hearing it the first time but this remix smacked my booty cheeks even harder 😤🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wish nintendo kept this in the game.
i'm muslim and i really wish they did... that sound suits that atmosphere a lot even if it is a verse of quran and it "offends" muslims (idk why tbh). but it sounds great
@@pyroactivity1 From what I’ve heard, the version with the sample removed was finished being coded before 1.0 was even released. That would mean the chanting version was probably left in due to time constraints...
@@pyroactivity1 I feel like if it played in a different temple than the fire temple people who are offended would be less offended. Idk, the fact that the religious chants are in a "hell" like dungeon could potentially make some people uncomfortable
Hopefully if it get re made on the switch it will be this version
@@pyroactivity1 Im also muslim, it just sounds weird when you understand what the chants mean. And no it doesnt fit into the fire temple
Me: *Enters the Fire Temple for the first time, expecting to hear the chanting*
Fire Temple: *Shadow Temple-like hummings play instead*
Me: ;C
It was removed because the chanting you hear in the original version is the Islamic profession of faith. The Arabic language you hear translates to "There is no god but Allah."
@@GrnArrow092 I know that. It still sucks it had to be removed.
@@Oliverius1702 fact
This is very neat! Can you do
Hyrule Field Theme OOT remaster? :)
I like how this gives of a currupt god theme.
This is more unsettling than the shadow temple music tbh
I want to hear Great Bay Temple remastered.
All your videos are great, I wish you had a chance to do Shadow :(
man! you are a genius, you've included the Muslims chants! that was a nice touch, respects the original version, the true uncensored version. a real tribute. thanks.
Hey man, can you upload a remastered version of the original fire temple as used in the game? I really love the original, and I use your versions as sleeping melodies ☺️
This IS the original version from v1.0.
The one you're probably thinking of is the censored version from v1.1 onward.
Thank you for basing this on the CORRECT version of this song.
You can feel the final version lack something. Sad they decided to change it.
Does anyone know how you can extract the contents of a 3ds .cai file?
I wanna see what the fire temple song is called internally so I can replace it.
its not possible because OOT3D has sequenced music, unlike MM3D
@@starbender5468 what does that mean exactly? Sorry I'm kinda stupid.
@@KUIJEN8659 🤣 no worries. it just means that the 3DS is really reading MIDI files rather than actual audio files (like wav, mp3, flac), so you cant replace the music with other audio files
I also want to see the revised version as well it would be cool well not as cool as this lol
I like this version with chants and its sad that they removed it from game. Why Nintendo doesnt replaced it with some custom chants like it but without religion context. This version more atmospheric ...and little frightening.
It was done to avoid disrespect to the Islamic community and I guess Nintendo didn't want to take any chances. Other games had similar things happen to them like Street Fighter V's Bison stage which accidentally had them in there but a patch came out that removed them.
Yes, i know. And so they could replace it with something similar. Maybe in those times was fewer possibilities for that.
Any plans on doing a similar OST remaster mod for OoT 3ds?
Unfortunately that is impossible as of now because OOT3D handles music differently (sequenced rather than streamed)...
@@starbender5468 dang, that sucks.
初期版のBGM(コーラン)は宗教的な問題で削除されたとのことだが自分はこっちの方が良い。
Uncharted music
Shot in the dark but could someone here point me to a place to get a N64 cartridge without the future censorship they added?
you need to look for the 1.0 or 1.1 versions of the cart you can tell by looking at the back www.reddit.com/r/zelda/comments/213nwb/how_to_check_the_version_of_your_oot_cartridge/
@@MrBlazekid4 Yeah I am aware of how to check. I just cannot find them anywhere. :P
I wonder what the Arabs are singing?
"I bear witness there is no God but The God"
Most gamers likely didn’t know Arabic languages so I assume this was purely a 9-11 thing in which people would be uncomfortable with Islamic chants….
The game/controversy came before 9/11 lol
Link is in hell

Is this the Quran 😡😡😡
Isn’t this haram?
no
Yes, it sets music to a recitation of the Quran
@@xaviorarrokoth Depends on what sect you ask. Some say its haram, some say its makruh some say its Mubah. Some do zikr with the company of instruments like the ney or daf. Some hadith explain it depends on how you use the music and what the intent is. If its malicious and blasphemous its haram. If its in the company of belly dancing, drinking alcohol etc its haram.
Short version: The factor that decides if music is haram or not is the intention and how the music is being used. Sami Yusuf is a famous islamic singer. Is it haram what he does? No.
Some do zikr with instruments? Shia or Sunni (I’m guessing it’s Shia)
