When you were playing as Texas, and your opponent was diving everywhere so early, I believe what happened is he plays Madden all the time. It happens a lot because R2 is speed burst in Madden, and MLB doesn't have speed burst. Instead, R2 is dive. You can tell because he hits it as if he is trying to catch up. He was probably yelling at himself.
