I looked at coming over to photo the upcoming swell, airfare was OK but otherwise it looks like everyone else is going to the beach. LAX seems to have a reputation for inacessibility. A good airport for doing transfers, but not for actually visiting anywhere around LA.

@@troycote4503 Surfline's handling of storms near New Zealand helped me snatch a couple of fairly cheap tickets to SNA for good swells. I hope they've under-forecast the prospective swell. Iain should be a natural for Wedge.
