I was born in Abidjan and i'm living in Abidjan, but honestly Lagos more developed than Abidjan. In addition Lagos is larger and its development is more extensive while the development of Abidjan is centered in a single place which is there plateau commune, which is also the smallest commune(place) of Abidjan. Abidjan is comparable to Lagos mainland but Lagos island is another level that abidjan could not surpass even in 100 years

Il y'a des communes huppés, des bidonvilles mais pas plus qu'Abidjan.Donc si tu devais faire une comparaison c'est avec cette partie de Lagos mais je pense pas qu'Abidjan soit même au niveau de cette partie de Lagos honnêtement. Pour finir c'est parce qu'on parle de capital sinon presque toutes les villes du Nigeria sont développées avec des infrastructures de qualité, de grandes maisons etc et Lagos n'est pas l'eldorado des Nigerians, ni la plus grande ville, c'est juste parce que c'est une capitale. Certains villages du Nigeria qui ne sont même pas à Lagos sont plus beaux et développés que Marcory et cocody réunis. Abiriba par exemple, il y'en a plusieurs autres villages du Nigeria que je t'invite à aller découvrir même sur CZcams ici. Honestly speaking Abidjan is overtaking Lagos by storm Nigeria is losing it's glory For me Abidjan is more beautiful than Lagos and the sad fact is that Ivory Coast is soon going to be the west Africa country with the tallest building in the western part of the continent i saw the building there in the video it's called the F tower consisting of 64 floors and it's going to be the second tallest after the iconic tower of Egypt I just hope Nigeria government get motivated in make her cities more attractive especially Lagos and take back her glory
I don't think Abidjan can overtake Lagos, As the city grows so does Lagos But I will say based on what I've seen Abidjan looks more organized and beautiful, but is not as developed. All Lagos needs to do is put things in place

Abidjan can’t overtake Lagos anytime soon. Aside from Plateau, Cocody etc it’s hard to find the kind of exquisite places like Lekki, Ikoyi, VI, Banana Island, Eko Atlantic etc. Lagos is West Africa’s financial hub for a reason.
