I am fully Ghanaian but i will never choose Accra over Abidjan! I dont think the drone shots of Abidjan were shot properly because ive been through almost all the beautiful places in Abidjan and i can tell you, Accra is nowhere near! Beautiful and clean streets, good roads, beautiful skyscrapers....chale forget kraaaaa!!!! Please compare Accra to Lome, not Abidjan. Abidjan 300 billion times

Les pays d'Afrique de l'Ouest doivent travailler plus dur pour embellir leurs villes comme cela se fait en Afrique australe. La ville d'Abidjan est belle par rapport aux autres villes de sa sous-région, mais elle reste loin derrière les grandes villes du continent, elle a du potentiel, et cela doit changer.
Bravo au Ghana et au Sénégal qui ont fait un effort ces derniers temps dans ce sens même si cela reste plutôt marginal.
West African countries need to work harder to beautify their cities as is done in southern Africa. The city of Abidjan is beautiful compared to other cities in its sub-region, but it remains far behind the major cities of the continent, it has potential, and that must change.
Bravo to Ghana and Senegal who have made an effort lately in this direction even if it remains rather marginal.

Because Accra sits on an earthquake zone and during the period of skyscrapers they didn't want take that root but recently they are doing that because the technology is there to build earthquake resistance structures. So that is the difference.

Ghana current gdp is 74 B, Ivory Coast is now at 70 B. There was like a 15 B gap between Ghana and Ivory Coast back in 2013. Now there is only a 4 B gap.

Knowing very well that for about 10 years they have been in crisis and that is the reason why Abidjan is still the same as it was back in the days.
