- I went into this hunt without any preparation, using my current hunting party. If you have 9S in the party you can reveal his weaknesses by repeated fleeing. It also very useful to flee if near defeat. Then go to another elite to heal up, return to 9S? and try again! No need to wait for another ticket. Also, if you have trouble navigating this maze, just look at the map and you'll see which arrows and paths you haven't used yet.
Note: The video is edited to improve flow. I spent too much time fiddling in the menus, lol.

Strategic Notes:
- Thankfully I had more than enough to hit his weaknesses. He isn't that hard so don't stress too much on it. If you don't have the right party today, try again tomorrow.
- Any team of appropriate 5* attackers should be able to defeat him in one break. Note that I didn't use buffs and only one debuff here. A specialised party will perform much better.
- If you can't defeat him in one break, make sure to debuff both 30% E.Atk and P.Atk, because he hits hard. Bringing buffers like Lynette will also help. - Hry

Revenge is a dish best served cold. HAHAHA. I love this. I’m gonna try your strat cause I seriously just got smacked no matter how much I debuffed him and buffed my defense and even using HP Regen.

I got clapped so hard, I didn't expect him to just bombed my party like that, so I had to flee and go to clear elsewhere. I will try again tmr.
Yeah he hits hard. It took me off guard as well, but its not a very difficult battle if you are prepared.
@@EmpyreanSky I took a revenge on him today, but I forgot to give sword to my Kouren, so half of the team was wiped on his recovery turn but I got him anyway after that.

I love how it was 2B that scored the final blow.
First time I had to think about what moves to use in three turns. I used Alfyn's BP restoration, buff and debuff summon skills, and Therion, Lars, and Fiore to nuke him out of orbit. Had a lot of fun doing it.

You could also close the game and then try again(it will boop you to before you fought 9S.
I hope I can beat 9S myself, but as I see it now, I need to get lucky with 9S' attacks to make sure I deal enough damage. I was close, got him to red health.
Thank god my current hunting team have Therion and Lars, let's see if I can kill him before he nuke my team

Could you please explain what's the best way to farm gear in this game? I haven't played it in many, many months and I'm kind of lost. Thanks.
Rule of thumb: the best equipment is always found at the latest main story chapter. So I recommend to farm in that area.
If you feel lost, the main story is also a good place to start since you'll unlock features and new places. Then slowly you'll familiarize yourself with other aspects of the game. Hope that helps!

Can I ask what method you use to farm exp nuts?
I don't do that anymore actually. After the nut garden upgrade I just save up from the dailies, and that is enough to boost one or two new characters to lvl 90 per month.
But before I used to farm Auguste lvl 60. It is a bit tedious, but you can do sessions while watching TV or something that don't require too much focus.
Before Auguste, I used to do cait farming. It is easy to do, but very time consuming.
What weapons are bis rn
Origin Weapons. But in one weeks time there will be a better weapon set from BoP Chapter 3.

1st: On the scale of Whale to f2p, I'm much closer to f2p.
2nd: It's not my regular hunting party. It's my current party. Naturally my current hunting party has the nier units to maximise their guidestone gains during the event.
Is it possible to beat him with a team of level 80s?
Yes, but you'll have less BP to spend so the fight can take a bit longer. Make sure to bring 30% P.atk and E.atk down and a healer that can heal between his two attacks and you should survive.
@@EmpyreanSky I see, will Ophillia and Olberic be able to serve as a dedicated healer and tank? I plan on having Lars, Alfyin, and therion as my main damage dealers.

@@ok-ue4ub Well you could fill in the rest of the slots with 4 stars such as Sigrid, Trish and Shelby to help with breaking shields. Or if you have 5 stars that hit Sword/Dagger/Axe weaknesses. Having one character on each row whose only purpose is to break shields, you can remove 16 shields in one turn at max boost.

They are not needed for him fortunately. Just chuck your team full of Sword/Dagger/Axe 5* characters, quickly break and nuke to the max! Having Viola/Lynette also helps a lot.

Haha yeah, the UI was a little different in the hunt than what I was used to. Rest assured there is nothing special going on aside from Origin/Atlas weapons, some randomly assorted armour and accessories. Like I state in the video, this is my hunting party so I haven't putting any thought into its composition.
