    Thanks for the vid! Quick question, I recently took the back off my tx to tighten the gimbals now both sliders and one of my pots only adjust half the distance they should. I have recalibrated the tx but still same outcome, could this be a result of pinching something or not getting those particular components back in the proper positions???

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  Před 3 lety

      Are you starting the calibration with those items CENTERED? I kind of doubt you damaged two sliders and one pot in one go, and it's also interesting this is happening only on "sweep" controls.
      Make sure you start the calibration with everything centered first.

      Look in your inputs screen for the aileron. Trim should be set to ON. I don't know of any way to get the trim to be reversed though. It always follows the stick even if the output is reversed. You may need to create a new model. I'd be interested in hearing what you learn about this.

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  Před 11 měsíci

      If you look in the flight modes tab under trims you'll see options for trims to all be the same, or to use trim values from flight mode 0 + the current flight mode, or just the current flight mode.

      The first four--self explanatory. The 2nd set T5/T6 are used for planes like Gliders that might have two sets of servos per wing that they use for things like crow braking, or using flaps as a 2nd set of ailerons.

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  Před 11 měsíci

      Subtrim changes outputs and o don’t believe they are influenced by flight modes. You could set trim per flight mode though.

      @@RCVideoReviews woofie5555: Let me start by saying I have not tested this fully so this is just a start. I think the answer is yes by using a global variable. On the outputs page you have the option to use a global variable as the input for subtrim. Use special function to adjust global variable to the value you want for the subtrim and the switch you use to select you flight mode as the trigger.

    The sticks are so sensitive that the slightest movement causes a full deflection. Does anyone know why when you move the aileron stick right or left, 1 notch, the control surface is deflected 100%?

      @@RCVideoReviews hi and thanks. Don't think so. Should it be checked ?

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  Před 2 lety +1

      Trim for throttle should work the same as any other trim without that option checked. Ok here are the places I know you can change the behavior of or turn off trim:
      1) Trim Idle Only - Model Setup Page
      2) Flight Mode Column 3 - Flight Modes Page (they should all say =0 unless you know you want something different there).
      3) Inputs Trim On/Off - Inputs Page
      4) Mixer Trim Checkbox - Mixer Page
      Does your trim button show changes in the trim indicator on the main model screen?
      If it does and you've otherwise verified that your hardware works (other models, or hardware calibration screen), and you haven't turned it off in one of those 4 places, then I don't know what else could be the problem. I would start with a new model.
      There are ways to load model configs in companion to do a compare if you want to dig in that far.
