CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Kinjo (John Lone) makes his cronies pay for their mistake.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
In this international action thriller, Paul Racine (Christopher Lambert) is an American salesman with a computer firm who is in Japan on business. While spending an evening in a bar, he meets Kirina (Joan Chen), a beautiful but mysterious woman. Paul buys Kirina a drink, one thing leads to another, and he ends up spending the night with her. However, when Paul returns to her room to retrieve a set of keys he left behind, he discovers that Kirina is being murdered by Kinjo (John Lone), the master of a cult of bloodthirsty ninjas. Kinjo informs Karina that no one has ever seen his face and lived, so when Paul witnesses Kirina's execution and the face Kinjo hides behind his mask, he's a marked man. With the help of Takeda (Yoshio Harada), an experienced ninja fighter, Paul learns how to defend himself against his new adversaries as he plots a final showdown with the deadly Kinjo. The Hunted represented something of a reunion for John Lone and Joan Chen, who previously starred together in The Last Emperor.

John Lone is a phenomenal actor. What I have seen him in, I have been very impressed. I wish that I could see him more on screen.
It’s respectable, honorable but sad that he always choose his root despite not knowing who’s his biological parents. Always respect and love this man, but his screen name “Lone”, speaks a lot about this Chinese orphan abandoned by his own people again and again, regardless of it’s intentional or not. We Chinese don’t deserve him.
2:47 after the film, this man changed his name to Tatsu and started working for another ninja master, the Shredder.
I was thinking the same thing, just reverse. Where Tatsu left NYC Foot clan after two defeats by the turtles, returned to Japan and was allowed to join the Makato clan. Again we see he was well skilled enough to become number 2 to the clan master.
What an underated film this was
My thoughts exactly.
After this, Kinjo decided to change his name to Ricky Tan and face off against Jackie Chan in Rush Hour 2.
John Lone was also in the Last Emperor.
And also in War with Jet Li and Jason Statham.
I can't help it. When John Lone speaks, I can hear the he is Chinese simply by the timbre of his voice. He sounds like David Lo Pan (James Hong) from Big trouble in Little China. Chinese people and Japanese people have very different voices and are easily distinguished.
One of the things I love about this movie that separates it from other ninja movies is that when somebody gets cut or stabbed, there is actually a cut in the clothing and blood. Pretty much all other ninja movies you never see that
This movie really was awesome and underrated
Chris Tucker: Yo! Ricky Tan, let's go! C'mon Ricky Tan, (stop pretending a ninja) quit playing..😁
Distinctive voice. Great gesture. What an art of Work!
Distinctive but not that good
Such an underated movie.
"Make them suffer."
I think he means it!
I kinda feel sorry for the first guy. He got done dirty.
Agreed. It's a fantastic film.
Tatsu found a new master to serve after the club incident….master saki would not approve lol
1:17; if Kinjo offered a challenge like that to me, I'd take the high road and run the hell outta there
John Lone is incredible actor really admire hem
Lol Isn't he the guy who plays the villain in rush hour 2?
2:47 Master Tatsu from TMNT 1990!
Kinjo is ruthless, no one can stand in front of him.
My favorite all time Ninja movie, followed closely by Sho Kosugi's Revenge of the Ninja
Have you seen an old martial arts film called "Five Elements Ninja"? That is a great action film, and I recommend checking it out.
@@jaret19 No I haven't. I'll definately check it out
This is the only ninja movie that sticks through time.
Great movie but where is the scene where Kinjo is taking a bath with his Kunoichi's that is the best scene of the film, why is it not included?
It was too hot for CZcams. That's why
i want the entire movie!!!!
Lou Diamond Phillips can sure handle a sword
Does anyone know what kind of sword Kinjo uses?
It's longer than the shorter Ninja-to. But, it still has the straight blade of a ninja sword.
dat Kinjo tho.. better switch to a more balanced breakfast.
I used to watch karate movies as a kid and have always been intrigued by the 'palms to either side of the head' move.
You slap both ears, it makes them ring and throws off balance.
"too well trained to fail" lmao
Por favor postem Marcado pra Morrer com Christopher Lambert (1995), dublado.
Desde ja agradeco.
The Hunted, my favorite Ninja movie Kinjo and a handsome man
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤John Lone is always..
❤our best Love...
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
John Lone, how beatiful he is!
love him
Unfortunately he stopped working in movies because of not getting good roles 😭
Shredder's nephew lol
Kinjo kills James Saito's character in this show. Saito played the shredder in the original tmnt.
@@RockoSK321 Wow
@@RockoSK321 The one on the left? I can see the Shred Head in his eyes.
@@fawtyseven5516 Saito is not in this scene. He played Nemura in The Hunted. He's the guy who hired Kinjo to kill the girl in the beginning. Kinjo later goes to his office and kills him. You can find the video here on youtube called "Kinjo's Ninja Fury".
John lone very handsome 😍
He had his chance he would have changed everything but 😔 it was only a highlander that could stop him.
John Lone was the Henry Golding of his time but better.
MUY BUENA PELÍCULA ❤
That was a lousy ninja…
Great Movie
Where can I watch this movie please
Ha a Ninja that spits like a ….
This was a great movie except for Lambert. Could have done without him.
Lambert just sucks. That he had any starring roles at all is baffling.
Now I want to see ninjas 3 guy in some more new movies. The good ninja hunting the ghost ninja..
Darn good movie.
Adelante,atras
Iceman (1984)
Kinjo the Iceman
Wouldn't mind a remake
wow he was parionoid of his own clan....if you fail him he say you betray him...damn what kinda leader was he cobra
Kinjo in Cobra Kai? I'm down.
Do you think that cult was a democracy? Darth Vader would have done worse. If you are a dictator(NOT A LEADER)you kill those who fail you.
ジョンローンから左の男性ブラックレインに出演してた方ですね😅
高倉健の息子役を演じたw
Why haven't I heard of this movie??
Because this society and culture is weak and devolved into low standards.
닌자들인가이영화제목은무엇인가요
Great
I just noticed that there is a hamon on kinjo's sword. While it looks extremely cool, 1:52 it would make 0 sense to have a hardened edge on a straight blade; the process of hardening implied by the frosted edge would cause the blade to curve like a katana. I'm sure a consultant probably brought it up, and was shot down because ninja movies have been doing the same for decades. C'est la vie.
Kinjo the Japanese Christopher Walken
Here is a match up: Kinjo vs Oroku Saki vs Ozunu
닌자헌티드
Hey I remember that guy.and the Ninja turtle guy to.. what movie$??I know you..like ur cool somewhere and then ur villins??
I want his sword for my Collection 1:24
爛片,但打鬥這段拍超神。
That's Ricky Tan?
He's a very dangerous man!
nobody dare sweat! regardless of skill or task.................
Great movie, but what's a Mexican doing in a ninja clan? 1:16
+MrRedskins0021 They steal orphans so anything is possible.
+TheGreaterGood80 nah, that's impossible.
this guy would do well in the UFC
The guy is idiotic! They were his brave and loyal soldiers! He did not deserve their trust and loyalty. If they failed in their mission its his fault for not training and equipping them appropriately. He lost his face and his honor. His behaviour is the reason why evil fails. Shameful display!
Kinjo was angry. First, he is forced to kill an unarmed woman who with her words wounds him, hurting him more than a katana could. He has no comeback to her when she calls him a coward as he knows that she is right. Second a foreign gaijin sees his true face and he fails to get him killed. This multiplied by the rumours of potential secession behind his back magnifies his rage causing this scene.
Randy
"You will not die quickly...I'll bury you up to your neck and have you rot in the sun".....
Sounds like my mother in laws wedding gift to me...
Only joking... my wife's mother is a terrifically decent person...
Edit... she paid me to say this at gun point lol.
Secondly.. this is and was one of my favorite films ...
Darth Vader approves!
Not professional ninja.
SuuJiin sucks, oops! Nope. SuuJiin has a tummy ache, oops! Nope. SuuJiin be pushing up daisies now.
That was the League of Shadows(Chinese version)
The League of Shadows was a bad joke.Like that awfull, awfull movie.
...or the Japanese version.
Japanese*
John Lone is Chinese actor,
Doesn't seem like a good business model.
Little Gods osu
Make them supper
This is a very good scene in the movie i understand that kinzo was pissed off because of the forener steeling his soul and his ninjas steeling his soul but couldn't Kinjo of mercy and gave them some kind of second chance to prove that they could kill thst american guy paul or they could of handed him over to the ninjs and then they cold of assauinate him and that's the problem over as far as I'm concerned it just would of been a lot quicker and then that's the end of the problem and then everybody would be happy knowing that Christopher zLamberts dead by the nijas thats what should of happened and then that's the problem solved boyh ways that's what I think anyhow about this sean in the movie that's what I think about it all anyhow thanks folks for reading my message everybody chreers for now.
If that was second in command there future wasn't very good.
He didn't fight with all he had.Take a good look at his face.He was dishonored for his failure and didn't really want to win.He felt guilty,in westrn terms.
"I make a decree that in all my royal dominion people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel".
Daniel 6:26
OSU push and endure
A bit awkward to see John playing this kind of role. Slow motion sword fighting with a anime feel eng dub scrip, it just feels like a kid's show to me.
Wow. This movie really sucks.
seriously you didnt like it? i think is cool...no bullshit like ninja assasins
Silversava2 Ninja assassins was okay, but too much CG ruined it for me.
animusauthor How about try watching the whole movie instead of a short clip but don't go expecting super flashy sword fights like the star wars sequels. This movie sticks to reality. No silly little circles, no waving the swords around for no reason. No cgi and most of all no bs.
+animusauthor What are you taking about?? This movie is waaayyy better then that bullshit film, Ninja Assassins.
***** I'd have to agree there. That film was not Sho Kosugi's best moment. In fact compared to the ones he did before it was a joke.
