@anthonystanley7147 for beginners it's good advice. It's easier to make a clean corner snapping it but it'll probably be slightly messy where you cant see it. Once you do it more you'll understand how it works and understand a little better how the corners should work. Good luck sir 👍🏻
Like to see the wrap in the engine bay and under the hood. Nothing worse than seeing a sweet looking job on the outside only to open the hood or trunk to see original colour.
@@PremiumUserUltra I mean I own a 2000 accord with a h22 in it, besides that I own about 12 trucks ranging from a 94 w350 to a 79 Mack r model swapped with a n14 so ya i definitely don’t own or drive anything my mom still picks me up from work and cooks me dinner
And as you can see, the wrap is almost failing, it should go around the corner when you apply heat, instead it is not sure if it wants to stay there or pull back, it s 50-50
In a year's time, you have to unwrap and then wrap again. Poor people, why not just go for a full paint? Saves more money. Wrapping is easy, the unwrapping part is where it will cost you more money than wrapping.
@user-no9go8mf4b yea I get what you mean but by hook blades what I mean is instead of regular utility blades (triangle ones) they have hook blades that are disposable and would work great , I used to do flooring and when installing linoleum we use hook blades so we don't scratch the walls, moldings etc , in this case it would prevent slicing into the paint of the car , hook blades slightly lift the material from the surface so you can cut it without it being against anything
This is better than 99% of the installs out there, where they just cut in the seam of two panels and wrap it. Each panel should be done separately like this

i dont like it reason that corner will come lose 110% i rather give it a release cut and fold it over each other under the hood and tiny drip of special glue to keep it into place for years to come
Oh man I got to be honest that is a terrible corner you’re gonna have a giant finger right there you can see where you crease the vinyl on itself that corner will 100% fail should’ve stretched it around the corner and then shrunk it back to the corner trim the excess it’ll never come up
@@Wrapmeisters Is it PPF? Even if it is that’s not the correct way to finish a corner. Not trying to be a dick. I just don’t know of any product that that’s how you’re supposed to finish the corner.

For someone that wraps cars day in day out this is up there with the better videos on CZcams
I’ve never wrapped a car before but I’ve seen videos of people saying to snap the corners, is that good advice or is that bad advice?

Looks good but how does it look under the hood.?
How often are people looking under your hood? And if they want to they know your cars wrapped and doesn’t care😂
Depends on your budget

Excelente.
I always thought wrap was a lot thinner than that.
Wouldn’t it be easier too snap the corner instead?

I always wonder why these guys don't use hook blades instead
@@RednaxBoxing gotcha , I figured they couldn't do that or it would leave a line
Cause they go through hundreds of blades. They need disposable blades.

Why not cut the corners so you can have them fold over each other and seal when you apply heat. That’d be a seal that would make me slap my momma.
