I am looking at buying an ez lynk for my 13 f350 they have blank ones for 499$ will that still connect to the internet to download tunes? Or do i have to buy one preloaded? Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance brother
You can’t just download tunes. Your tuner has to drop them on you. They are not free. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Just bought a 2015 f350 wanna fireplaces to get intake kit and pies looking at ez link 3.0 don't know if 5 inch or 4 cause wife doest want to loud but going put muffler on it.dont want egr a cpvcc also and the rear fuel filter up grade and diaster by pass . Did a full EGR delete on a 2018 F250 Platinum. Used Ezlynk. Followed the directions per Colt. 3 buddies, 3 hours later and a case of Coors Latte, truck runs like a dream. Thanks to Colts way for walking us thru it.

@colt45 Hey I’ll be installing mine to from SPE, question..did you have to unplug the same three under the hood?
@@nathanbullard2694 I was told no I didn’t need to but while my truck was running I unplug the sensor on the EGR valve and it shut. That means the valve was being told to stay open, so I unplugged all three anyways.
Crazy how good a muffler delete sounds. Those mufflers are so restricted!

LOVE the dummy plugs. So on my last truck I did a “muffler” delete. Just left the plugs hanging. When I traded it in, I had to put the muffler back on. Got a few error codes because all the plugs got corroded over the years lol

It’s a transmission tune. Just changes the shift points and stuff. The 2nd gear lock locks the torque converter in 2nd gear at wide open throttle instead of I think 4th gear where it locks from the factory. Thanks for watching brother. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

First, awesome video! I appreciate your no nonsense approach to showing us how to do things. Sooo, I've got a beautiful 2015 F-250 that I plan on keeping forever. I've been doing lots of internet research. For longevity purposes, is it better to remove the EGR so it won't clog over time rather than unplug it? I'm not a mechanic, so I don't know if that is possible or if I'm overthinking it. I like the thought of unplugging it in the event I would need to put the extra weight accessories back on for any reason, but like I said, I want to keep my truck forever if possible and I'm concerned about the long term effects of leaving the EGR on if it's unplugged. Thanks once again!
There is nothing wrong with jus the unplugging it, but if I was going to just keep it forever I’d do the block off plates. Just so I could customize everything and add piping kits and shit. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

hey colt, when you disconnect the wiring from the muffler for a delete, does the def fluid light stay on? or does it go away when you use an ezlink and flash the trucks system to a different tune
