@Aaron Wolf no it was changed, it was 3 in 1.8 and before and it’s 128 now
Pro tip: The chunk the copper is in needs to be loaded for it to start oxidizing. Also if you want to do something big with oxidized copper, be sure to space the oxidizing blocks 4 blocks away from each other. I also think it helps if you group them by their oxidized state.

18:42 actually: Being covered in snow keeps you warm! Snow acts like a good insulator because of the air pockets between the ice crystals. That's why animals like wolves, foxes, rabbits and huskies let themselves snow in. It is actually a couple degrees warmer underneath the snow blanket. So Minecraft didn't do their research.
Where you should actually be freezing is when you're getting wet, either by rainy weather or while swimming, after leaving the water or - who would have guessed - while crossing a snowy region, like ice, or high mountains.
But what do I know? I'm just a simple guy enjoy binge watching nature documentaries.

You need a very decent layer of air between you and the snow. When the snow touches your bare skin, it will suck away heat from you, making you cold. So unless you are protected completely from the heat exchange that can occur between you and the snow, you will get cold.

- Make a Shulker Farm, then fill an entire shulker box with shulker boxes, which are all full of a different building block (because shulker boxes are OP)
- build a woodland mansion in the nether, using only materials found in the nether
- build a wither farm (just for the infinite beacon flex)
these are actually good ideas. except the part about filling a shulker box with other shulker boxes since that is not possible.
