I had the same exact experience with love Tuberose..granny vibes,initially hated it but the dry down is definitely better and people actually complimented me. Thanks for being super honest! No other reviewer I watched mentioned that old fashioned opening

loving it when i bought a fb , i had that experience with all my amouages from this line.
So glad you gave it a chance. Amouage is my favourite house at the moment and I absolutely love this one. It’s so thick, creamy and romantic 😄❤️. Don’t worry about your nails girl, we here for the perfume 😂. I never judge stuff like that because we are all human, we can’t be perfect all the time 🤗.

Thats interesting to hear. For my nose Love Tuberose 🥰 is much more easy to wear than Rouge Malachit, which I also like, but it's a little bit challenging to me.

Maybe Love Blossom? I've been seeing some hype about it again. I had a similar experience with its dupe. I thought I hated Junoon Rose at first, which is supposed to be an exact dupe for Love Blossom, because it had too much cherry blossom, and I was going to declutter but now I love it. You make me curious about Love Tuberose.
I tried love blossom. It's nice. I prefer love tuberouse but only try it if you love tuberouse. Lol. I don't think this one is a friendly tuberouse for everyone

I’m so thankful I watched this before blind buying it. I think I will buy a sample first because I have made the mistake of buying expensive niche perfumes that I just don’t like and don’t understand. I think with Amouage in general I will sample first.

I am obsessed with Love Tuberose! It’s the only Amouage I like. I mixed it with my Narciso Noir Rose…and girl. It’s so creamy and sexy and sophisticated but still sweet. Obsessed

I love this perfume too! It's one of my favorites. I also don't like any of the other perfumes from Amouage too and the ones I tried were Love Mimosa, Lilac Love, Honour and Guidance.
My other favorite tuberose perfumes are Fracas de Robert Piguet, Blonde by Versace, Vert Malachite by Giorgio, Organza by Givenchy, Tuberose Le Jour by Aerin Lauder and Joyeuse Tubéreuse by Guerlain.
Out of a score of 100, what would you give this one?
I dunno, maybe your tester bottle turned because I have the same fragrance and it doesn’t smell granny at all. There’s no aldehydes either. If basically smells like a beautiful faintly sweet creamy tuberose. The dry down is the best part. I was hesitant to purchase it after watching your review but I really don’t get anything of what your getting?
I was wondering what you thought of LYS 41 by Le Labo if you’ve ever smelled it? It’s another tuberose one!
I remember liking it but I also remember every tuberouse scent starting to smell similar to each other.
I love this house so much so glad to hear you like amouage Tuberose 🥰 I think at first sniff I didn’t love it either but it is one of those perfumes that has grown on me. I live for white creamy florals. Hahaha 🤣 granny Tuberose, you’re too funny, I am here for this grandma Tuberose. Unfortunately it’s not one I use often, but it’s one I could never get rid of every time i put my nose on it I am obsessed all over again🥰

@@Olliesmom Ok, I’ve tried 4 new perfumes just today in case you were interested, all from Bond no9:
Hudson Yards- 68; Very sharp, minty blast of greens and floral scents. Overpowering. $440
Madison Square Park- 87; Nice feminine scent. $440
Greenwich Village- 82; Basically a holiday scent. Think a cinnamon dusted pinecone with pastries. $460
Gardenia- 72; Something Poison Ivy would wear. Very vegetal, some flowers. $460
People get offended when referring to fragrances and saying they smell like “Grandma” but the truth is we all know exactly what you are saying when you say it smells like Grandma Tuberose. Lol. People are too sensitive. I was born in the 80’s and pretty much everyone’s grandma smelled like powdery florals. Now, you could have said it smells like powdery florals or powdery florals and we could leave it to our imagination but when you say Grandma Tuberose we all know EXACTLY what you are talking about. 😆
Lol... I rather people imagine the scent and choose to buy it than giving false advertisement it as gourmand and got disappointed and lost $$$$$.
If they want someone to hype a fragrance so that they can justify their purchase. There are so many other channel out there. I'll just say out loud what I smell. 😸😸😸
