That's awesome. Congrats on sticking to your no buy. That's my goal for this year. Is a very low buy. For the perfumes you declutter- how do you get rid of them? My collection is very large and just selling is daunting and also takes so much time. I sell on mercari
I sold a few on eBay and it was simple but they take about 17% of the sale and make buyers pay tax on used items ☹️
I sell them slowly on Mercari. It was daunting but I just posted them and they got sold slowly over time
Mercari now takes a lot of percentages too. I don't know exactly how much but i do lose some money.
Yeah sellers get hit and buyers get taxed, and now there is a service charge when you transfer cash out of Mercari back to your bank account. I’m looking for a cheaper platform.
My perfumes on Mercari sell in a day. I spend time taking nice photographs, writing detailed descriptions and opinions, I let buyers know where I bought and how much I paid. Also I sanitize each bottle and pack and box each bottle w a lot of care.
