you can hear in tom's voice how cold it is out there, and it somehow makes you feel warm in the heart.
beautiful description
Exactly, post from 16 years ago
How sad it is sometimes… Sometimes I wake up and salute the morning and have a cup of tea… Not being special feels special and I'm not even sure if my sentences resonate with anything you're familiar with… Just writing here to mitigate my meaningless pain due to a silly break-up hehe
"I'd rather go to a piss foam party than watch the fucking football".
Brilliant.
+Connor O'Donnell What a legend.
Omg someone in Black Mirror's production really loves Radiohead
Mylo HOLY SHIT
Wittenham clumps?
Where is this hill??
@@augustonicolascastellanosi4314 It is called Wittenham Clumps, nearby Oxfordshire
Mylo noticed that
Even the wind blows at the perfect time....superb

Best part of the vid
The whole setting of this video is exactly the aesthetic that I love the most, the breezy evening in the British countryside. Beautiful
"I love you, but enough is enough."
This is easily my favorite song from In Rainbows. I just wish it were longer.
Has anyone noticed that is the hill from S3EP3 of Black Mirror
I noticed that too! and when "Exit Music" started it just stunned me. Someone on that production loves RH.
It's called Wittenham Clumps. I live near by. Quite a common filming location. Beautiful place.
Nearby as well. Would probably shit myself if I saw Thom and Johnny running up the clumps towards me...
Wittenham Clumps. I live here. It's used a lot because its such a sound place
It's where the final part of the ep began ight ???
I've always thought that the worst thing about this song is that it's two or three minutes too short.
+Christopher White Yup.
good problem to have
I usually say the same thing about other short songs...but honestly, Faust Arp is at a pretty perfect length to me.
It's just right 😄
Thom's singing is so majestic it feels like he's coming inside me
What
What
What
What
What
This song feels like waking up early in the morning, with a gentle, cool breeze filling the room. I don't know what the song is saying lyrically but the general vibe of the song is just peaceful and refreshing.
It's about cocaine my boy
can't describe my love for this song
"Piss scented foam party!"
Bit of a weird intro to the best version of Faust Arp I've ever heard. Its just so beautiful.
Any guitarists watching this, I highly recommend tuning your guitars the way Jonny has tuned his here (i.e. down two steps); it sounds fantastic. Especially the open G Major chord shape (which becomes F Major in this tuning).
thanks for the advice, even though the comment was 12 years ago, I just learned this beautiful and heartwarming song on guitar and i was doubting on play it like the "in rainbows" original standard tune or this version. btw it really amazes me how they make the B minor chord transform to B/F# so smoothly trough that descent.
I want to hug Thom right now and I don't know why .
Radiohead feel too much as they compose and sing. Feeling down is bad for them, but that's why Kid A happened. They are really productive in 1990s back then. All you can say is `f**k the press and radiohead haters´. Also do you understand this song's meaning?
@@paiko2888 what's its meaning
we all do
I need to see Thom with this haircut again lol.
Wakey wakey
Rise and shine
It's on again off again on again
Watch me fall
Like dominoes
In pretty patterns
Fingers in
The blackbird pie
I'm tingling tingling tingling
It's what you feel now
What you ought to what you ought to
Reasonable and sensible
[Hook 1]
Dead from the neck up
I guess I'm stuffed, stuffed, stuffed
We thought you had it in you
But no no no
For no real reason
[Verse 2]
Squeeze the tubes and empty bottles
And take a bow take a bow take a bow
It's what you feel now
What you ought to what you ought to
An elephant that's in the room is
Tumbling tumbling tumbling
In duplicate and triplicate and
Plastic bags and
Duplicate and triplicate
[Hook 2]
Dead from the neck up
I guess I'm stuck stuck stuck
We thought you had it in you
But no no no
Exactly where do you get off
Is enough is enough is enough
I love you but enough is enough, enough of that stuff
There's no real reason
[Outro]
You've got a head full of feathers
You're gonna melt in to butter
Mir Sadat Hossain it's stuffed not stuck
What you feel NOT what you ought to.
It's get some stuff not guess I'm stuck or stuffed
Could blackbird pie mean heroin?
Watch this video in 02:00 am , perfect
exactly the same but at 2:11
2:34
im listening to this at 2:30 exactly right now, Radiohead really knows how to bring the feels especially at night
literally 2 AM on the dot as I'm reading this comment. crazy
No. Its scary
Think the Foam Pisser used to read me Old Bear audiobooks when I was a little kid. Good to hear from him again. Done well for himself.
Isn't that Stanley?
i wonder what does the conection that thom and jonny have feels like
This is my drug I can't stop playing along this masterpiece
By far, the best version.
In D tunning
I just listened to the album version, and I have to say, this recording is incomparably superior to that one. Thank you for Scotch Mist, Radiohead!

This is one of the most beautiful songs ive heard up to now :)
The love of their music the past twenty years is profound and only grows in time this always makes me cry...the ex who died ...I love you but enough is enough of that stuff for no real reason....
My favourite song and thom never remember the lyrics :(
i had come across this one on an unofficial channel years ago.. Fell in love with the track instantly.. the atmosphere in which this track is recorded is so amazing.. for me its one of the best parts/aspects of this version.. Thanks Radiohead!
I can’t stop watching this video over and over again. Love u Thom! Thank u for the voice and the song( that really made me cry😭😭😭😭😭😭
This is the most aesthetic background I've seen in my whole life. It's seems so peaceful in that scenery
This video is a treasure, i love it, and this song is really underrated :(
Such a level of purity about this video and I'll always hold it dear to me
So i was having a terrible day and this really calms me down.Love these guys
I love these two artists so freakin' much. Gifts.
This is just amazing, such a song in a place to play and sing, in such a evening
oh god the intro though, i almost thought it wasn't a song? lol
scotch mist
YAAAAY! This vid is such a treasure to me- I like playing and singing RH songs on my acoustic, got the songbook for In Rainbows and Faust Arp was the first song I wanted to learn. So much of the harmony is carried by strings on the album so its REALLY useful to see how they tackle it with just guitar and voice. So beautiful. Bm to B in the verse, that lovely prog near the end: an unresolved B flat, an unresolved A, an unresolved G/C all resolving perfectly into the G. Shades of the White Album.
People talk of the power of music. This song is full of so much symbolism it’s ridiculous and I live Thom for that. This music does have power.
i love the sound the wind makes on the mic just before "you've got a head full of feathers" - sounds so dreamy
In rainbows be like :
*energetic intense drumplaying in Weird Fishes*
And then *BAM* - *doomed acoustic guitarplaying in Faust Arp*
Not to mention All I Need
Always a good song to wake up to
They is walkin in a field and they finds a mike. 'mazin!
this is an absolute gem. i feel as if i actually stood on a hill at sunset and heard them play, just for me. :3
genuinely the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen
Why am I just now finding this. Amazing.
This song, performance, and pre-poem (are) so great. Thanks fellas. My favorite album yet. Can't wait til the next. BTW the 45's sound awesome.
absolutely magical. I can't believe it's the first time I've ever seen this video.
this makes me feel so calm and idk why
this band mannnnn this bannnnd!!!
This song and Reckoner are about Faust I think.
Check this out, good explaination of Reckoner

hey thats very nice of you thank u friend
No problem your welcome buddy
+Jacob Gray Videotape also mentions Mephistopheles from Faust.
love this version of the song
This is unbelievable. Watch the covers of this song and then come back and listen again.
That was so beautiful, no words.
Nothing sounds as beautiful as brilliant music played out in the middle of a field, on a beach or on a mountain top.
I used to go out with my family and fly kites on that hill. I discovered Radiohead through the end of Shut Up and Dance where the protagonist is walking down that hill. And now Radiohead have recorded a song on it. Neat coincidence
what a genuine and original talent.. so many levels of awesome
It may be, yes. My point is that it is exactly this simplicity and intimacy what this particular song needs, and this is why it sounds so great with just one accoustic guitar.
This is my comfort video
I love the intro and of course the performance!
The song fits the darkening and windy Oxfordshire scenery perfectly.
I keep coming back to this
I keep coming back to this
I keep coming back to this
I keep coming back to this
I keep coming back to this
I keep coming back to this
Beautiful, perfect.
this is the most beautiful song.
thom yorkes voice is beautiful i love the way he sings this.
i think i like this better than the recorded version, its in a lower octave and sounds more....emotional.
This is like the Beatles, Yorke is like Lennon.
holy shit this comment is 10 years old
A sad version of lennon
man i cant get enough!!!
i love this song!!
this is overwhelming. Beauty as it simplest.
How beautiful. The song the scenery i just adore these people
fucking incredible.and I love you Adam.
i like how this version, you can actually tell every word that he's saying...
This video is so precious
Jesus Christ. So fucking beautiful

I love this song!!
faust arp is my favourite track on the album. Seeing R-Head at Vicky Park London on 25th June, can't wait
Magical. Superb. Just out of this world.
SUCH A BEATLE SONG. BEAUTIFUL
...singing in the nature.. never seen it before :) truly amazing. i'm in love with Radiohead ;D
Amazing
this is a phenomenon. you truley feel at home when you listen to this
Great song, i love how they went outside to record this.
beautiful
Reminds me of when I take my dogs to a walk in an open field while they run with us. We still do it, but I feel nostalgic even though we still do it.
Did a little tour of Radiohead spots today whilst in Oxfordshire - went to see Abingdon School where they all met and then to Wittenham Clumps (where this was filmed) and listened to this song. Was pretty cool.
Ahh, you lucky person!
Watched some live vids and it seems proper epic :D
Love the intro!
this video it's amazing!!!!! they are playing on a sunrise what a wonderfull time to play that song! amazing!
Beautiful countryside, I love how the lights twinkle in the distance. Song is too short :(
First time i can't find someone from 2019
Hahahaha
2020 here
Yeah another one from 2020
This song and this performance is amazing
Same 2020, and this song is bomb
everything is beautiful.
simply wow.
The accent is perfect
So authentic
i love radiohead
in concert this tour, he had a camera right in front of him and every once in a while, he's look right into it and get closer...closer... he's so freaking cool.
this has replaced street spirit for me... for the song that stops me in my tracks and makes me cry... i love it so much.
Oh my god this is brilliant.
ahhhhhh they are sooo fantastic.
look at Thom, he's beautiful
great song, great video
