I like Federer for the way he plays but also because he doesn't grunt and doesn't do over-the-top celebration everytime he wins a point.

Now I understand why Medvedev found it hard to ever say that Federer was the GOAT. I’m not starting a GOAT convo here. I’m happy to have witnessed Roger’s career, I’m sufficed with it. If Roger has ceded the status of GOAT to RN or Nole, they are his worthy successors. But this was back when Roger was still playing. Medvedev never called him a GOAT. It makes sense now, knowing what he had to go through when facing Roger!

@@Alexx22570 ups, i got confused with roddick in the slam account. Well. You know what fans used to claim when roger had the overall stat lead? That he spadded most oh his titles in a weak era betwen 2004-2007. What would fans say if nadal had the stat lead then. That he won everything in another weak era? The facts say that neither federer's era (2004-2007) or djokovic's era (2011-2016 and 2018-2023) were weak. The trio of roger, rafa and novak won everything betwen 2004-2022 and djokovic end up being the best, period.
