8:09 His baseline half-volleys returned as regular groundstrokes and passing shots are mind blowing.
I like Federer for the way he plays but also because he doesn't grunt and doesn't do over-the-top celebration everytime he wins a point.
Medvedev at his best won't be able to do any damage to Roger...Roger's variety can easily put him away
Constant serve and volley and slice he wouldn't win a few matches
Roger was too good for him
yeah he definitely was
Now I understand why Medvedev found it hard to ever say that Federer was the GOAT. Iâm not starting a GOAT convo here. Iâm happy to have witnessed Rogerâs career, Iâm sufficed with it. If Roger has ceded the status of GOAT to RN or Nole, they are his worthy successors. But this was back when Roger was still playing. Medvedev never called him a GOAT. It makes sense now, knowing what he had to go through when facing Roger!
Thank you for not getting into a âGOAT convoâ. They are just pointless. Thanks again.
Dude it was settled last year 2023. Djoker surpassed Rafa.
Fed is #3
you mean it was EASY for him to say that roger was the goat, not hard to say.
I hope tennistv realizes one day that American footage should be captured in 60fps
Great video raz!
Thanks man!
Roger played at such a high level at 38 yo compared to Novak and Rafa even a couple years younger.
Roger at 33± played way better than novak and rafa...Roger had to deal with strong players post his 30's unlike novak who vultured free slams against noones
@@vijayendranvijay4538 yeah exactly, Federer always had to face legends and two other GOATS during his whole career til retirement. He never had weak competition. Dumb haters.
He played at a higher level than Novak and Rafa but they were way fitter than Roger.
@@15Stratos That I agree as well. They were mentally stronger too
â@@vijayendranvijay4538interesting comment. With this you are openly stating that competition betwen 2014-2019 was strong. This denys the myth that competition from 2016 was weak as many fedal fans use đČ
All deserved Great Roger Federer đ
Sir Roger federer golden legend in universal love you so much miss you so much teniss history best player â€â€â€
Roger said he thought Novak's grip was too extreme when they first played... I wonder what he thought of Meddy's stroke lollll
Federer played before and after the court and ball changes,
for the faster court era, those grips are indeed too extreme
but they fit well in the modern slower court era
5:30 Dios disfrazado de tenista, una vez mĂĄs!!!
Raz Ols love you so much â€â€â€
Crazy how Federer handles Medvedev with ease, yet Bathroombreakovic struggles beating him lol. Bathroombreakovic really is the Weak Era King
Djokovic is better than roger sadly
@@victormanuelbustamantealva6803not in terms of skill and talent, in terms of being able to not miss on break points he is, thatâs about it though, and he also got some easy slams against Berretini and shitstipas
@@GabrielGardner-wx2ph roger is definitely better than djokovic and nadal in his technical game. But he tended to miss a lot in the important moments of a match while nadal and djokovic not. In the end, the player who wins more is the best. And related to djokovic's "easy" slams. Yo seem to forget that roger won most of his slams betwen 2004-2007. A time spam that most of fans call "the weak era"
Federer best of the best.
good
Couple of points to mention here. Medvedev is not a great indoor player at all. He also kind of sucks on slow hardcore like Miami and Indian Wells. His game style would actually bother Federer on a fast outdoor hardcore.
Which courts are you referring to?? đ€š
the forehand is visibly weaker in 2019 than 2018...
Owned by a soon-to-be retired 37 year old man, sad...
Medvedev is a weak era number #1
Extremely one dimensional player with no real weapons besides his serve
Safin was way better than him
Even Davydenko was a much better player
Then why he has same # of gs as safin, more M1000, top 10 wins and won all of this competing against the big 3 his whole career?
@@victormanuelbustamantealva6803 safin has more slams than him lmfao and masters donât mean anything, neither do top 10 wins in this garbage era. As if a win over someone like Fritz is supposed to be impressive.
@@Alexx22570 ups, i got confused with roddick in the slam account. Well. You know what fans used to claim when roger had the overall stat lead? That he spadded most oh his titles in a weak era betwen 2004-2007. What would fans say if nadal had the stat lead then. That he won everything in another weak era? The facts say that neither federer's era (2004-2007) or djokovic's era (2011-2016 and 2018-2023) were weak. The trio of roger, rafa and novak won everything betwen 2004-2022 and djokovic end up being the best, period.
@@victormanuelbustamantealva6803 Difference is that rogers generation won slams whilst the 90's generation who novak faced have won the least amount of slams in tennis history. an entire decades worth of shit players, roger faced slam winners who weren't technically and mentally inept.
