hey man i guess these are rubber mounted harleys? I had a 1993 1200 sportster and at some rpm it would vibrate pretty bad. I suppose the rubber mount made it better when they introduced that in 2004. If you have any personal experience on how much better the rubber mount harleys are I'd appreciate it. Also, take your bike in to a good bike shop (like a local small business) and have them do a carb rebuild and retune. I had that done on my 93 and you wouldn't believe how much smoother and cleaner the engine was running. It ran great before, but after the carb service it barely needed any choke on a cold start unless it was like 50 degrees outside, and the throttle was so smooth. Almost felt like a fuel injected bike thats how nice it was.
Give the story on this? What happened to the 600? I'd like to know MPG's? I was thinking you must of went off CZcams completely. I'm glad you are still right side up and nothing has happened. I even checked to see I wasn't for whatever reason missing videos. Can't wait for a vlog.
@@nickmduran7310 I'm hella late to this but I got my first bike today, 2006 custom but it only has 6500 miles on it. Guy I bought it from showed me it was an older couples bike. Bought it for $7,900. Hope that's a decent deal.
Congratulations..just bought the same bike for 3 grand with 6,800 miles . completely stock
Sick ride bro

@@MahaffeyMoto About time buddy. At least post a video saying what's going on. Some of us bikers worry.
What kind of bag is that on the front?
Where did you hide you're wiring up front since you replaced the risers. I hate the stock 2006 risers cause they sweep in towards you too much
what mounting bracket did you use for speedometer ?
Hello, I am planning to buy the same motorcycle - 2005 model. That exhaust sounds excellent. What brand and model is the exhaust ?
Its called Vance and Hines Short Shots
@@MahaffeyMoto Is there a way you can adjust the volume of exhaust. I have the same exhaust. It is irritatingly loud.
Beautiful Harley. I’m looking for one just like yours. If you want to sell lmk.
Damn. You ever finish bobbing the vlx?
No I knew I eventually wanted something with more power so instead of putting money into it I decided to just get a bigger bike
Would you recommend a person thats big (150kg 5.11 tall) this sort of bike or should I look at a different harley?
Nothing wrong with a sportster but another good option would be a softail standard.
Is it easy to read speedometer while riding ?
Yes
Would you pay 5500 for it with 4000 miles on it?
Jose Dominguez just bought one today for 2300 with 11k miles with some mods alerady pipes, seats, new tires, air filter,
@@nickmduran7310 lucky man
