I have an all-metal variant on this design, meaning no wooden or bamboo handle but it’s all one metal piece. Mine also has a spring-loaded rod that you push and it works to clear the clamp. Works great for dandelions and other weeds with solid centers, and I’m fond of it, but the learning curve included keeping it clean so that the extra “clearing” mechanism doesn’t interfere with the clamping action. With an occasional spritz from the water hose and/or some WD40 to lubricate the spring and other moving parts, I hope to keep using it for a while. Meanwhile, I’ve also had to work with sprays on the clover and “creeping what-cha-call-it.” Nice concise video, thank you!

    THIS THING IS AMAZING.
I have a lot of work to do but it's better than killing my other grasses.

Aren't these kinds of tools meant to virtue signal from your garage about how dedicated you are to your lawn, though you have never been seen using one? Sort of like the boat that cost you $60,000 and has been on a lake twice since you bought it 16 years ago? Now that could use Grandpa's Weed Puller around the flat trailer wheels about now.
