Today - Well a month or so ago.... Jeff explains the EOS port plate kit for our B58 A90 Supra and why it is a better set up than meth and why its needed to make more power.
A must if you want Big Power - We can push more air but with out the proper fuel its useless -

Great video like to see more on the Supra a90 the only thing that you didn’t say what color to use on the map sensor connection that would be helpful
Would port injection add some power to just pump fuel 93 map. As you can inject more. (on a bigger turbo that is) hybrid daw flow max.

Hi Jeff; thanks for the video! I’m having a hard time finding any conclusive review about carbon buildup in the B58; some claim having to deal with and some say it’s not an issue so I have 2 question for you please: 1- Can you please share your experience about that (have you had to deal with it personally yet); is it really a known problem? and 2- If there’s is potential for carbon buildup, would your port injectors solve that problem or at least make it so minimal as we’d come to know with older engine with factory port injectors?
Are you able to re-use the engine cover ? (it seems like not)
does that port plate require trimming tabs off the stock intake to fit?
Which cable on the map sensor ?
Did not show where you will be getting the supplied fuel for the fuel rail.
Will the port injection allow a stock turbo E85/93 flex fuel tune to be used and take advantage of actually adjusting for the full spectrum of E10 - E85 content in the fuel tank?
Port injection allows you to run full e85 in the tank. These cars can run e50 with stock fueling just need a sensor so you can see how much. You’re at and tune of course

With a pure850 on a stock fuel system you can push about 550-580 HP.
Would you recommend port injection if I am looking to road race the car ?
Depends on fuel used and power level.
@@jeffreypayn5689 i think im gonna stay full bolt on, good tune on 93 sometimes top it off with little 100octance. thats about for power right now still need more seat time
Port comes into play with E and larger turbos.

So what power level would I be looking at with this port system, stock turbo, full E85, and catless downpipe?
Stock turbo work well to E50... if you want to push past that, you will need either meth or Port.

Sorry... I think I misread your question. Full E85 cars usually make low 500’s depending on the dyno.

Why does port injection allow you to run E85 vice not having port injection? Does port injection some how prevent E85 from damaging your fuel pump, gas tank etc? Appreciate anyone knowledgeable enough to answer. Thanks.
Port Injection allows you to add enough fuel to support running full E85 without over taxing the stock injectors.
@@jeffreypayn5689 Thanks for the feedback. But can your fuel pump handle full E85 and doesn't E85 create condensation that is bad for your fuel tank? Is a new fuel pump and fuel lines required and some type of additives for your fuel tank to prevent corrosion of the tank?
@@supranova730 Depends on the power level with regard to a LPFP. You will start having low pressure fuel pressure drop in the 650+\- whp range. There are corrosion concerns, although the tank and most of the components are plastic. I recommend flushing with pump gas once a month and keep pump in it when stored for more than a few weeks.
