I used this 303 Nano Graphene Spray on several cars and it only lasts a few months. The Griots 3-In-1 spray Wax lasts much longer and it leaves a slicker finish on the paint.

Depends on where you live. If you have relatively moderate winters, you'll only get 9-10 months protection...if you live in warmer areas, you could get even more than 12 months...but the product is extremely easy to apply so doing it twice a year would keep you going for a long time.

I’ve been using 303 Graphene since March last year once we able to get our hands on it. I’ve done numerous friends cars as well as my own Jaguar’s. You can always slap a coat of Carnauba wax if you want your dark colours to pop a bit more. I probably top up my own cars coating every couple of months.
Pound for pound I think it is a fantastic product for the cost. Also…. As it can be used on glass, it really helps water disperse from the windscreen quickly, but also give your wiper blades a quick wipe with it as well to stop them shuddering across your screen 😎👍

I've ummed and ahhed about buying this 303 stuff to try for a few months now, but have kept going back to si02 products instead - massive fan of BSD, keep trying others, keep going back to the sonnax.
I totally agree that even though it might not set new standards for spray on sealants, it's great to see brands trying different approaches - I hope they do OK in the UK scene.

I’ve used this and their marine space protectant on the interior and they are both very good products. Durability is a good six months from what I’ve seen and I reckon the space protectant is the best I’ve used at dressing and protecting the interior. The Graphene spray isn’t the easiest out there but worth the effort. Great video thanks.

    Hi John
I have been following your genuine honest showdowns for a few years now, and your no nonsense advise, sincere thank you for the efforts you make & the hours you put in.
I wrote to you a while back with a serious upset i had with Karcher, i put it in the bin eventually i just had enough and lost interest in detailing for a year, to be fair, I thought their products were designed by people that have never used the product and it was so unreliable which totally destroyed the enjoyment and therapeutic relaxation that detailing gave me, anyhoo, the occasional dry day now i am keen to get my car how I would like it. 😊
I just thought I would touch base with an idea of maybe you showing your subscribers cars before and after.
I personally would find that very interesting
All the best & good luck

We sell it and I have it applied to my own car... gives a lovely gloss. I think a lot of people think it fails because the water behaviour changes. It's still protecting but stops beading like after it's been applied. But for less then £20 it's not bad at all

    • @ForensicDetailing

@@ForensicDetailing that's right. I think a lot of people use the hydrophobic properties as a level to if a product is good or not. I've had it on for over 3 months and it's still protecting... they also do a great fabric protector

    • @max_powers11
      @max_powers11 Před 2 lety +1

Sorry but you're wrong there I have this in my Armoury and I get 6mths at very most in the UK weather before it is completely gone not just a change in water behaviour . The cars I have used it on are fully prepped pre applying. Because of the graphene oxide content it is quite a grabby product upon removal. It is brilliant for durability on glass I will give it that but since tw updated their seal and shine I've had no reason to use this product and it also costs nearly 3 X less so basically anyone who thinks you will get a whole year from this you won't 100%.

Interesting product. If the duration is indeed up to 1 year that would be great for the price. Im still using TAC systems Shinee Wax. Its super easy to apply for a regular guy just looking after my own car. I would say it lasts about 6 months. But then again i do nearly 30,000 miles a year so the paint is getting a lot of road dirt thrown at it. So 6 months is fair for a wipe on / off product. And its cheap too !.

The convertible top products are really good as well. I.e. the cleaner twice a year makes it look like new again and then the protective spray. Though I do not buy the protective anymore because it is a pump spray bottle as well. I use Porsche spray now, as it comes in a spray can and makes for more even application. With Porsche, they obviously only re-brand quality industry leading stuff and I am guessing they re-bottle 303 anyway. Porsche leather products can be had much cheaper by buying the original Dr Wack cleaner and protection.

I watched a couple of reviews on this product last year and was impressed then saw some negativity on duration of it so in the end I didn't purchase it. It will be interesting if you do a follow up on longevity and I see it is now sold by Amazon. Last year it was difficult to source the product unless imported from USA with taxes etc. What is it like to remove as I also like to try different waxes, sealants on a fairly regular basis. Too much time on my hands.

Looks an interesting product but I’m still not sure about graphene products to be honest. Maybe I’ll be surprised and find something that proves me wrong..

Hydrophobidity isn’t just beading. The sheeting effect is just as important as beads, with less chance of leaving water spots. Beads = water spots / sheeting = large pool rings and runs. Take your choice, beads or sheeting.
Oh, you applied half the panel cross hatching it on, half the panel wiped on in one direction. And you missed a patch above the rubber strip in front of the wheel arch when buffing.

What about a darts night where each number you hit, equates to a product you have use for the next six months. Then review.

      Hi Paul,
Yes, Graphene can be used on Matte surfaces.
As with all products, we'd recommend testing on a small area first.
      Hope this helps

It doesn't last a year unless your car is always in a garage. I am finding none of these spray on ceramic and graphene products last as long as they say

    • @ForensicDetailing

Ok Dave I'm gonna drop myself in it I remember this product when it was first aired in the US everybody even pan the organiser was crawling all over it, was this next evolution in car protection forcefield spray basically I followed it couldn't wait for it to come out over here kept watching the channels all the American detailers , what I noticed gave it a couple of months and a lot of the guys were turning their backs on it even the ,,,,,word snake oil ,,,started to be mentioned so I watched your video with interest,, so I switched to sonax products and good old bilt-hamber what a shame I thought graphene was going to be the future just my two pence worth mate. PS sonax polymer net shield give me a solid 6 months followed up by a monthly in the winter periods a quick spray with BSD ok Dave wax on wax off

Not a fan of this stuff at all. Doesn't give good water behaviour, doesn't last long, isn't easy to apply compared to most Si02 or polymer sealants, isn't cheap to buy compared to others.
Overall no real reason to use or buy it as there are far better out there
