I'd love to hear about the burnables. I like how you're burning (melting?) the resin with the candle underneath. PS I got one of those incense holders with the holes that you showed and I've now fallen back in love with burning incense. Thank you for sharing as usual 🥰

Hi, Kara! Yes, the tripod is essentially melting the resin. Glad to hear the enclosed incense burner is helpful for you! I really appreciate the reduced smoke aspects of it 😊I am going to include my journey with burnables in my next capsule video. It is very much on theme with my summer so far! 🔥

Another great video! As always! I loved hearing about the crow fledglings because I have been witnessing something similar. There are red tail hawk fledglings in the trees above my yard and they make so much noise all day long. It’s music to my ears! And thanks to you, I know they are Redtail hawks because I use the Merlin Bird ID app that you mentioned in one of your previous videos. Otherwise, I wouldn’t know what they were because I cannot see them.
I would LOVE to hear more about your resins, incense, and various burnables. I am constantly looking for something that works for me because I cannot tolerate smoke. Thanks for sharing!

That must be so exciting to have a red tailed hawk family so close! So happy to hear the Merlin app has been so helpful... I am so thankful for it, too 😊 I will include my burnable journey in one of my next videos. I am less tolerant of smoke, and especially with wildfire season being so prominent (you probably are affected too where you are)! Thanks for commenting, as always ❤

First off, thank you for sharing your months with us! I know how much time it takes to edit these videos with overlays in comparison to just straight-shot recordings.
I love your sweet crows & the comparison you made with the fledging and your son. ☺️
Our trees are loaded with blue jays right now. I love when they find a home in my garden!
I love the case you shared that attaches to your journal. I am a magpie of sorts when I read outside, and I could really see that being a useful tool for me when I collect little stones, leaves, and other treasures from nature. I look to leaves often for dinvintary messages especially, so it'd be nice to carry them around in a little pouch so that they don't get squished. ☺️
I offen find myself doing ancestor work in the late winter / early spring season. I screenshotted the book you 1st shared. It looks like a great resource.

@@MoonflowerMoments Thank you for acknowledging the amount of editing I do 😆Thankfully, I enjoy the process 😅 Dogs barking (my dog & neighbor's very close to us) are often the cause, and I also ramble a bit unnecessarily at times! I love Bluejays, too, so special they are finding a home in your garden. We have Stellar and Scrub jays here, and we have had a nest or two in our yard over the years. A case to bring with you sounds perfect for your collecting, and thanks for mentioning that, now I might remember I can stash nature treasures in my pouch too! 🌸

This was such a lovely video to watch this morning while i sipped my coffee. The cathedral was beautiful. My lavender is struggling this year, yours looked lush and beautiful. I loved how you charted your cards in your bullet journal. The spiral tarot was the 3rd deck i ever bought years ago but i never felt connected to it but hearing you talk about it makes me want to look into that deck again and the divine feminine oracle is beautiful. 😊

@@carriesmysticalmusings Hi ☺️ I hope your lavender gets a chance to bounce back! We have had an extended heatwave this year, so things are rougher around the edges since I filmed this video 😅 I didn't really connect deeply with the Spiral until this year, interesting how these things go! Hello there 😊 first off, the title of this video is awesome! The Spiral Tarot looks like an interesting deck, definitely has a unique style to it ✨ I've been having a moment with an older deck and working with ancestral related themes too in the past month, what a coincidence! Can't believe the second largest Hindu temple is in the US, pretty cool you got to visit and show us 😊 I always love seeing the plants in your garden 🌱 thanks for sharing! 💛

@@magickalmooncat Hello! 😀 Glad you enjoyed the title and appreciate my little plant family☺️ That is so interesting that you are working with an older deck and ancestral themes, also. Makes me wonder about the surrounding energies at this time. Ooh, I am curious what deck you are using! I couldn't believe the temple, either... in New Jersey of all places?! It was truly mind blowing and brought me to tears LOL. As it was constructed to be a visual representation of the universe, I suppose that is appropriate! Sending many summer blessings your way ✨

@@magickalmooncat I agree with your sentiment. No appropriate words, really. The daily practice of striving to be fully present (and functional) is definitely a challenge. Ah, the Haindl is one I have often considered getting. It is up there with the classics, I adore the artwork of that one. I have heard it is very deep and multidimensional. 💗

  • @SecondThoughtsAboutTheMission

Those crows 🐦‍⬛ 😍😍😍 Wow, I can’t get over that mammoth Hindu temple … in New Jersey???? I had no idea LOL that’s incredible! Loved the Princeton University Chapel footage too, so beautiful. I had a very similar experience with Writual Planner which I plan on going over in my journal video (which I hope to film this week) and I did the same thing: I have a plain journal dedicated to daily readings. Your new journal is beautiful, love your handwriting, and I write super tiny in my journal too. I really enjoy my TWSBI pens too! Looking forward to your Spiral tarot video! So funny the synchronicity we experienced with that deck recently. I just filmed a deck video where I talk about it a bit. Really hoping to connect with it more because I’m never parting with it 😂

    • @Calluna.V

@@SecondThoughtsAboutTheMission I had NO idea about the temple, either! Never would have imagined something that vast in New Jersey of all places 🤯 Wow, our journal experiences are similar!! TWSBI ecos are all I have ever used. I am excited for your video. I just received my Spiral Tarot backup and the colors are not as saturated, but could be because the cardstock isn't glossy now (more of a satin finish). I am never parting with it, either. If I had to pick only two, it would be that deck and the Thoth 😆 I also just finished editing my Kay Steventon deck video today. So many synchronicities!

I told Mark about the temple and he said, “………in Jersey? Are you sure it wasn’t a casino?” 😂 He didn’t believe me LOL
I noticed your Spiral Tarot is glossy. Neither of mine are, but they are on 2 different stocks. The older edition is thicker and I really like it. I don’t have a problem with the new stock either. I’m sure I’ll find your video very helpful! I knew the minors were inspired by her grandmother, but not much beyond that.

Aww. This is why I don’t mind glossy decks, I felt the same way re: the new printing of the Morgan Greer. My copy from the earlier 2000s is glossy and more vibrant! I was considering doing a side by side of my two spirals if it proves to be worth posting. Now I’m curious to see if I find the older copy more vibrant.
That really made me laugh … you should have heard him when he said that, about the casino 😂

Really enjoyed watching this while sewing and powering down for the evening. Have you ever worked with green Hojari frankincense? I love it quite a lot because it's equally healing and elevating. A lovely, thoughtful summary of your month as always! Three months without rain is crazy! Is that quite normal for your area, or is that a climate change thing?
Poor you getting dive bombed by crows 😂! Our crows love to harass the local cats when they start scaling the trees. They seem to team up with the magpies to defeat their cat overlords.
I really like the 'Honouring Your Ancestors' book. I don't have it anymore, but I read it multiple times a few years ago. I'll have to check out the Claire Goodchild book! Your bullet journal is so neat. Mine is quite messy... mainly due to my huge writing 😂.
