Craft With Me: making a travel altar from an unused tarot box

You can adapt these ideas! Maybe paint directly on the box (be sure to clear coat afterwards), or even collage could work... I haven't explored the full potential of other possible methods. If you end up creating a travel altar box of your own, I'd love to hear about it!
