- I just purchased a large collection of 500 Funko Pops worth $14,000. The collection came from a guy who had collected heavily in 2014-2015 and includes tons of vaulted Funko Pops, Limited Edition Pop Vinyl Figures, SDCC and NYCC exclusive Funko Pop Vinyl figures and so much more. This was an awesome collection and a great opportunity to pick up some rare Funko pops for a great price.

Yeah he loves to help me with the collection as well as work on his own hehe With the Coppa laws we cut back on him being on the channel in 2019, but he still wants to be part of it. The other day he asked me if I could teach him to edit so he could be my editor lol He also plans on starting his youtube career at 13

CK is a great helper. Can see him as a toy dealer with vast knowledge one day. Writing a book on pop culture & growing up in a NY toy dealer shop.
He does love pop culture and I could see him taking over the business when he grows up.

Love your channel! It inspires me to get back into collecting Pops! I started collecting specifically GOT pops in 2015 and then stopped, but think I will continue collecting! I mainly collected the characters I liked and actually put them in my work cubicle... can’t believe most of them are worth so much more than I bought them for!!
Some of those 2015 GOT pops are rare and expensive now. I am shocked my bloody Brienne is over $300 now. I remember buying her new for $10 lol. Welcome back to the hobby.

Holy moly grails! The Sheldon was also my favorite in this video. Love y’all energy,. Seeing those SDCC makes me want to buy into them there so cool and rare. Which is what I love i come from collecting figures that are rare variants so yes i must have Rare and Grail funko pops! Onto part 3 haha

Hey Guys. Just want to say I really enjoyed these videos. I have been going to sci fi conventions since the late 70's when they weren't mainstream. Mostly trekkies. This Funko Pop thing is new to me and you guys sure schooled me on the nuances of Pop collecting. I've seen them when I take my sons to Gamestop for X-Box stuff, but had no idea what a phenomenon they have become. Some of the ones you said were worth hundreds I saw years ago for $5.99. So,keep up the toy fight. After reading some of the comments, people love you guys! Peace and Blessings.
That is very cool, I bet you have had a ton of fun collecting through the years at conventions etc. I miss the pre ebay days when alot of things people just did not know so you could find cools stuff for a great price. It is crazy how high the value of a lot of pops has gone up the last few years. I think they thing that makes pops so popular is the make toys on almost everything so eventually there is a series you absolutely love that they eventually make pops for.
And I get excited when I order 9 commons...

So .... once your collection gets to 500 POPS you sell for half of what they are worth. .....? Cool. Sounds like a good investment.
No one should invest in funko pops. People collect them because they enjoy them but sometimes realize they just do not have the room for them so they sell their collections. Most people have jobs so not everyone can sell their collections online etc so they sell them in bulk to someone else who will spend the time to sell them. As they say time is money.

Right now I do not have much for sale online, I sell on Mercari at the moment. Most items I sell in my physical store.

how do u maintain the box condition isnt this a huge part of the value with these things isnt stacking them putting pressure onthe bottem ones or are they light enough not to damage the boxes
Honestly a find that a damaged box does not bring the values down that much, they still sell well in the shop as long as I adjust the price to compensate for the damage. All my more expensive pops I put in pop protectors to keep them from being damaged. As for the rest I only stack them for a few weeks as most until I sort them into banker boxes that only stack them 2 deep. For me though the main value of having the pops is the content I make with them for youtube. I would not recommend stacking pops up with out protectors.
