I have been watching your videos for years man. For someone like me, who grew up with all these gangs but did not get involved with any of it, it is like a history lesson. I grew up in South Gate in the 70's and 80's. High School in the late 80's. Its weird how you end up with this street level knowledge of what territory you are in at any given time. Even for those of us that did not "Bang", you knew the score. All these interviews, when they mention streets and areas have me going through my memory book and thinking, "Oh yeah, there was a Vons there", or "That's where those dudes hit me up", lol. I know you have been to Lynwood and just across the tracks into Watts but it would be great if you could find some South Gate cats to talk to. SG has a strange history, with the neighborhood shifting from white to hispanic over a few decades. But, as you know, the whites even had some racist gangs way back in the day. South Gate, Bell and Huntington Park are like sister cities with similar stories. Thanks for all the hard work man. Keep it up. Felix.

What's crazy is I'm 42 about to be 43, born in '75 and they make the 70s sound like ancient history. lol
That's because you were a baby and they were living it. The 70s were vastly different than the 80s and and an extreme difference in the 90s, especially in the Pueblos. I didn't live there but several blocks away and before the crack epidemic, it was like a light switch went off.

Damion Briggs we uploaded about 16 other videos since the part 1. And we upload 2-3 new episodes every week. Part of the delay is because we are always interviewing someone new and there are other part 2s that need to be completed. Lastly, dropping them back to back, results in poor performance.
I agree. I forgot what was said in part one it was so long ago. With all due respect, there is no logic in the gaps. These are Camp Fire conversations that loose power unless they are together.
