Sadly I think that is the reason why some people are talented, fit and good looking - it's because they are never satisfied with themselves and so they go on and on, trying to achieve more, trying to be better in every way. It's sad that so many times people can't see their own value and everything beautiful in them :(

I think you’re downplaying his explanation about the culture he grew up in, regardless of where he lived. I’m oversimplifying and prob get heat for blanket statment, but as he pointed out, you are constantly bombarded with “good intention” criticism, till eventually it’s self driven and part of identity.

I have similar issues as eugene simply because when we did something good we werent told "good job, heres what you did well, if you want to improve here is a suggestion" we were told "you should have done more, you should/have to be better, heres how you failed" I got straight As once and I was told "next time get higher As" and that mentality being constantly driven into a person is so damaging. Of course its different for him because he grew up in a different culture than I did and hes male so hes also expected to hold his emotions in but i feel i can at least somewhat relate

I lived in korean for 2 yrs and everyone told me I was so pretty, Then I lived in France for 7 1/2 months and everyone told me I was pretty (or just didn't have an opinion) then went back to America (I was born in Boston) and was bullied because "my nose is to flat" "I'm to white" "to skinny"

If you noticed, the doctor is from Beverly Hills which is in California and he spoke only English. They didn't actually fly a Korean plastic surgeon from Korea for this video therefore the photoshop done wasn't from Koreans. It was done by Americans with Korean beauty standards in mind.

What natural enlargement does Eugene need? Nothing at all. He is a naturally handsome young man, he should not be tempted into becoming one of the many when he is already one of a kind.
As an African I just had to grow up and love me more and accept the way I look like
I feel like the doctor was way too nice. I think if they really meant to show the true beauty standards then he would have been telling the truth and made more drastic changes. Not that they dont look good already, but they certainly don't 100% fit korean beauty standards and the after image doesnt either (except maybe eugene's)
