Eugene portraying Elvis was, honestly, such an emotional moment for me. As an Asian I grew up seeing very few people who looked anything like me in media. That’s why Mulan blew my damn mind. But to see an Asian portray a Caucasian truly brought tears to my eyes. Maybe I’m being overly dramatic, but it really hit me in the feels. I have to add that as a Minnesotan I’m so proud to see Prince represented and love hearing about his impact on others.
