Nice rig. I don't understand why people feel it's ok to rig boats, hot rod out cars, do all kind of things to trucks but are against rigging kayaks. Sad.
It seems the biggest issues are with motors and electronics. There's are similar divides with forward-facing sonar & accessing backwaters with bass boat anglers right now.

To be fair, I think Ryan tries to be very clear that this is for serious tournament angling. A weekend kayak angler won't need (or want) all this, but they may find a couple of the optimized tips handy for their recreational angling kayak. For instance, the under-seat storage boxes.
The vast majority of us don’t want a boat and prefer the kayak platform. Some like the bare bones setup, while others like the fun of rigging the thing out to suit their style of fishing.
