- A song from our new musical, BANANALAND. “Toby” is sung by the character Karen, who is desperately missing her 5 year-old son while she is on the road, far from home, on a long tour with her band. How on earth do I come up with this crazy stuff?
Performed at the Brisbane Festival launch for Bananaland at QPAC last week. With thanks to Uncle Leon for whipping out the phone and filming.
Bananaland is a new musical comedy with songs by me and Keir Nuttall, book by Keir Nuttall, and directed by Simon Phillips.

My partner and I just saw this in Sydney. It was amazing! If it was here longer I would probably go see it again it was that good! Loved it! I just wish the music was on Spotify so I could keep reliving all those songs! I wanna sing all my with them all! Particularly I love to be a wikki wikki waa waa. And consumerist pig 😅🤣
