- Today we took a ~luxury~ mini bus from Hanoi to Ninh Binh Vietnam to get out of the chaos of the big city and spend some time relaxing. Of course, things can never go smoothly on a bus travel day.

Next time you’re in Hanoi take a 3hrs bus ride to Ha Long Bay or a 4hrs bus ride to the mountains of Sa Pa, both were worth the bus rides there.
We are going to Ninh Binh in March 2024. We have also booked what we think is a nice hotel in the city. Really looking forward to it, as it’s our second time.

We booked on 12goasia and we stayed at the reed hotel
What made you choose to go to Ninh Binh, it looks pretty quite compared to the other cities you’ve chosen on this SE Asia travels.
We originally wanted to go to Ha long bay but couldn’t book a cruise in time so we went to Ninh binh the “ha long bay” on land instead!
I dont think you did enough research on accom. in Ninh Binh. where you stayed looked isolated and horrible. There's heaps of better accom. in Ninh Binh thats much prettier. Never mind !!!!.
