1) Blue dome building is the Soriya Mall one of the first malls built in PP. Up top used to be a Hot Pot restaurant called Suki Soup with a great view. Now the mall scene is dominated by the huge mega malls built by the Japanese Aeon 1, Aeon 2 and Aeon 3, you can find everything there even Parmesan cheese 😂 They also have a delicious food court and big market downstairs. 2) The Central Market aka Psar Thmei have a great cheap street style food……did you eat there?

I would like to ask if there is a bus from Phnom Penh back to Ho Chi Minh? If I have applied for a multiple-visit visa for Vietnam online, will I still be charged for the visa? Because we are passing through a land border crossing, is it possible that the border customs/immigration officers are off duty? For example, if I arrive at night and cannot clear customs, I have to stay one night near the border and wait until the next morning before I can enter the country? ! Thanks!

I dont think you did enough research on accom. in Ninh Binh. where you stayed looked isolated and horrible. There's heaps of better accom. in Ninh Binh thats much prettier. Never mind !!!!.

Torino looks like a ghost town compared to the bustling Asian cities in SEA. The wood fire pizza in Siem Reap looks tastier than the one you had in Torino, probably cheaper and served hotter too!

Just watched this vlog again and remembered there was a movie in 1984 called “The Killing Fields” which was nominated for an Oscar for best movie in 1985. Haing S. Ngor who played Dith Pran won the best supporting actor award…….he survived the Pol Pot regime but unfortunately was murdered in LA’s Chinatown in 1997 , shot by a Asian gang member.

The extra luggage fee sounds like a scam……When I fly to SEA I’m allowed two big luggage’s weighing not more than 50lbs each = 100lbs total, also a small carry on luggage or backpack.

Wow! I thought you two were gonna head home for a bit before the next adventure! The luggage fee was criminal! I would call up AA to see if they could reimburse.

I'm currently waiting for my Passport Book, is there anything you recommend I get a head start on? Or, if you could fill me in on what all I have to complete before I can go there? Where do you recommend living as an expat working remotely? I was considering Chiang Mai but Bangkok may have more fun things to do.

our family is going to move and live in Thailand, I don't mind the heat been there before and also lived in humid areas being in the military. We will be getting the new elite visa for 10 years stay luckily will get that prior to leaving the US so we should have great deals like meal credits, lounge access, etc, should be fun!

We are going to Ninh Binh in March 2024. We have also booked what we think is a nice hotel in the city. Really looking forward to it, as it’s our second time.
