- Here are some of the best scenes from the action/war film 'Rambo III' starring Sylvester Stallone. In the third film Rambo's former superior, Colonel Samuel Trautman, asks him to join him on a special mission in Afghanistan, Rambo declines. But when Trautman is held hostage and tortured, Rambo decides to step in.

The biggest tragedy we ever witnessed was Sylvester and Arnold didn't even work together in a movie in their peak years.
Sadly😔 Only we can imagine
They were both in the expendables movies
@@bloodmonkey4222 bro I do know that...I was talking about their peak year's meaning they didn't work around 1980s to 2000s.

This Rambo 3 movie was, is and will be the best of the entire saga, the 80's was the best decade of all time with the best movies and the best music, sweet memories !!
Absolutely, I seen this at the theater when in high school too with my friend on a weekday. I loved it. I remember Stallone always bettering himself as he got older. In this movie he was 42 y/o the best shape of his life. Now 76 y/o and even bigger and better than before, well maybe not the best shape but better than the majority of people. He’s an inspiration. Still gives me chills before the stick fight. The music, the way it builds up as he prepares and then stops when Rambo turns his head to the audience for the fist time. I always thought and still do that Sly sells fight scenes in movies better than anyone. I know Bruce Lee was awesome and he's a legend, and Van Damme can do those fantastic kicks, but there's just something about Stallone's fight scenes that really get my blood pumping.
1. Bruce Lee was awesome and I also hope his fight scenes made your blood pumping just like Rambo movies fight scenes ;
2. Van Damme can do fantastic kicks and I also hope he's fight scenes from movies made your blood pumping hard just like the fight scenes from Rambo movies.
Bruce Lee is a legend and will always be the best. But U R right , Sly brings that strange primal caveman shit like no one else. He's unique. Special.
Each had their thing, that is why they are memorable.
To name some, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Bolo Yeung, Jet Li, Jean Claude Van Damme, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood. And many more.
Clint Eastwood didnt even needed to be a martial artist to make you respect him, just his presense and his stare was more than enough. Probably the most convincing old man hero we had on cinema ever. On his elder years he still managed to pull that.
Amazing actors all of them, we are lucky to have lived in these years to enjoy most of their movies.

I think the thing that really set Stallone apart from a lot of other action guys was his training ethic and his conditioning. Nobody trained and dieted harder than him. He maintained a crazy physique year round. The only action star I can think of that stays in shape year round right now is the Rock. That brings me to the second thing that set Stallone apart - his humility. The Rock is his own biggest fan. He's SO cocky! I don't know, they just don't make them like they used to.
The man is a legend, for sure. Even if he doesn't always know how to leave his politics out of Hollywood.

Yea, the stick fight has to be one of the most intense fighting scenes in cinema. I remember as a kid, I kept closing my eyes and jumping from my seat. I felt like I was there. It has some great cinematography and sound design. In the end, when the fighter is lying down, Rambo's rival expects a death blow is coming. Then, Rambo shows compassion when he finally realizes the fear in his opponent, after he begins coming down from the adrenaline rush.
I hate what a lot of Hollywood is releasing today. The last Rambo film, for me, was such a let down. However, I always wanted a film when Rambo was in Vietnam as a Green Beret. A film depicting the lethality he had with The Special Forces teams.
